This may not be worthy of its own thread but I found it to be pretty interesting.

So lets get this out of the way. Not much new is revealed. KY is definitely holding firm on not talking about any release dates or car lists or any major details what so ever. These types of things are obviously meant to be kept secret. And to be honest as I have said before I do not even KY knows when GT5 is going to come out. I think it is more of a, "when is the best time to release GT5 thing", than a, "when GT5 is complete we will release it". I think PD and SCE are waiting for the best time to release GT5 in order to A) maximize sales, B) not reduce the sales of other major SCE games, C) not have the sales of major 3rd party releases like MW2 interfere with the sales of GT5 and D) find a time when consumers are most likely to spend (my bet is this Christmas).
But...
What is interesting about this interview is why Nascar was included in the game. It seems KY is comfortable going into more detail about things that have already been revealed. I think its really cool why he wanted to include Nascar. Not just to boost sales in the US but expose the rest of the world to American culture. In a way he is doing the same with WRC and SGT (maybe LMS/ALMS and drifting as well). I think this is a really "noble" cause. This is what will make GT5 really stand out. Not damage, online, weather(?)/TOD(?), or any of that stuff, but the shear (or sheer?) variety of cars. As it stands now GT5 is already like 4(+) games in one.
