New Year Holiday Challenge: Pagani Huayra '13 Overtake Challenge

First, I think I'm pretty good at the GT series, and you make me look bad, so yes, great job there!

Second, I was meaning it literally, how do you make such a nice video and present it here?

1. Save replay on GT6 game
2. Download on a flash drive
3. Upload to...
4. Host on...

I'm a bit lost!

First, you NEED a video capture device connected to your computer. You just play the game as you normally would, but you enable the capture device to "capture" the video that is being output to your television onto your computer's hard drive. Instead of the video signal going straight from the PS3 to your television set it goes from your PS3 into the capture device and then off to your television.

Here are a couple examples of Video Capture Device's:

YES! My God, after 5 hours of blood sweat and tears I finally beat this damn thing for Gold before the deadline.
1:03.288. What is up with this car. Engine of an F1, brakes of a Ford Fiesta.

Whoever gets gold on this is a good driver no matter what. I found ASM made it worse, it made the car too stiff to coast around corners. I had active steering on strong with a DS3. ABS 1. Traction 5.

That was the most frustrating irritating painful thing I've ever had to do in any video game in my life. The most finicky fickle challenge ever. You breath differently and get a different time.

I literally cannot see where I am making major errors. I power past the Aventador on the second right turn and fly through and still barely get gold. How the hell are people getting times under one minute????

Thank you guys for posting the videos and the explanations, you helped me a lot even if I've never had so much trouble on a seasonal so far. But quitting with silver is just impossible!

Well done, I was about to commit suicide with this challenge, I finally did it. This is the most frustrating thing I've ever
had to do in a video game. No way was I ending it with 1:04.500 and letting it win before the deadline!

If it weren't for freezing, I would have gotten this a while ago. I doubt being able to even finish this. So hard, and even worse, the PS3 freezing on me.

Àw, it's gone now; it was the only NYH challenge I had still to clear. Ah well, I already had a Huayra anyhow, whereas the Jag, SLS and Stratos I didn't have. I couldn't see myself golding this one anytime soon anyway.

Now perhaps I can focus on something easier than this challenge, like reconciling quantum mechanics and general relativity.

You can be proud of yourself now, you tamed the damned Huayra on the freaking Bathurst till the finish line on time, bravo! Many players managed bronze or silver and prefered to let down. 👍

Customizable Dog-Clutch Transmission
Sports Computer
Racing Exhaust
High RPM Range Turbo Kit

I don't remember exactly which tires were on the car during the event, but they gave every set of tires with the reward car.

EDIT: Sport Soft tires were installed for this event. I just watched a video replay in this thread and confirmed.
