seeing previous comments, they should have

1. stop testing
2. mass produce the FT-1 and called it supra
3. and finally

The problem with all three of those renders is that they use something very similar to the old company face, as seen here on the 86 & Corolla...

Rather than the face Toyota is now using...

While I prefer the old front a great deal, I certainly wouldn't expect Toyota to release their brand new 'halo' car with a face they started using 4+ years ago. I'd expect it to be a completely unique design that may just feature a couple design cues from the new family face. Maybe those big shark gills will become functional for the Supra?

No denying those renders look fantastic though!

That's why I'm not excited for a Supra. It's going to have some crazy design, with the only thing resembling a heart of a Supra being the nameplate.

But seriously, the Supra was made famous because of the engine.

The side vents will probably won't make it to the final product though.

We can't rule out side vents just yet. The camo on the LC completely covered the vent behind the door - Toyota could be pulling the same trick on the Supra.

I really don't understand the need for a nameplate revival after no fewer than 14 years out of production. It's gone, get over it, come up with something new.

It looks like an angry fourth generation Honda Prelude but that certainly doesn't mean it doesn't look good. Needs some kind of a rear spoiler though.

Thank you for this, I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw this. Though I did mentally say "no thanks" after seeing it.

Since the testing mules show no sign of intake or exit vents, if the production version has them then they're most likely dummy styling clues without functionality.

I feel disappointed over the test mule images shown so far, I hope that's nothing like what the final will be.

I really like this, but the design looks slightly dated, Not much difference from the GT86.

I've also designed my own interpretation how it may look, which I'll upload soon.

The size perception of it is so concerning. It literally looks like it could pass for a Miata Coupe from some angles. Maybe even a new-gen. S2000.

Just not seeing anything of the FT-One at all anymore.
