Broncos at Chargers TONIGHT!

Get ready for an AFC West tilt as the boys from Mile High go down low to far Southern California to take the juice out of the San Diego Chargers. Who you got winning this one, Denver on the road or San Diego at home (SD favored by 3)?

Denver can't lose if they want to keep they ball rolling. I can't see them giving this one up with Peyton at the helm.

Broncos 30-17 Chargers

True. The pats are in the same mess we are.

If the season would end today NE would be in as a 4 seed. Actually. 3 AFC East teams would be in (Buffalo at 6, New York at 5) and SD at 3.

In the NFC Chicago is #2. Arizona is #3, New York #4, Minnesota(!) #5, Seattle #6

EDIT: New York SHOULD be ahead of New England but they are looking at winning pct., not overall record, at CBS Sports.

Fair do's.

Ray Lewis out for the season. Manti Te'o would be the ultimate replacement but he'll probably get snapped up by one of the AFC South teams.

Sympathies for Lewis. Guy is our most hated enemy but I couldn't wish a season (possibly career) ending injurt on anyone. (Well... almost anyone)

I'm not worried about Manning's game, but I'm worried about Denver's suspect Defense that let him down several times.

So I just found out Trindon Holliday is now a Denver Bronco after we cut him from the Texans' roster. What does he do? He muffs an SD punt that was recovered by the Chargers... and the Chargers put a field goal on Denver. Epic fail by this former Texan who was so awesome in the Preseason.

It's 3-0, San Diego with 8:56 left in the 1st Quarter as of this post.

Michael Wilbon of ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption" often says that San Diego does good... then falls asleep. Well, San Diego led 24-0 at the half... followed by an epic comeback by Denver. In the end, it was 35-24. Peyton Manning is just too damn good. You know, I'm glad my Texans don't have to play Peyton Manning twice in the regular season. This performance tonight is why. You hold serve at home for thirty minutes. Problem is... it's a SIXTY minute game, and not doing s:censored: after being up by at least three touchdowns is just ludicrously sad. Denver just decided to play football in the second half and just embarrassed San Diego. Terrible and unacceptable if you're a Chargers fan.

Well, my Redskins have the same record as the Patriots.

Imagine that.

What's with the Pats this year? Losses to both the Cards and Seahawks? Ouch!

My Redskins are doing rather well this year (considering we have a bunch of players from last seasons' roster). Currently we have the 2nd ranked rushing offense, 5th in offensive yards, and 3rd in points per game. In the league!

Alfred Morris and RG3 are quite the tandem, and Santana Moss has brought his best to the table this year.

If you were to say we'd have a .500 record after 6 games, I would laugh.

This team has surprised me honestly

The Patriots three losses are by a combined four points. Based on that, each game likely could have easily ended in their favor.

The Jets, Bills and Dolphins all are 3-3 as well. Judging after six games is pretty meaningless.

And the Patriots also have a "closing" issue. They can't seem to hold onto the lead late in some of these games. That's how they lost to both Arizona and Seattle (who are both not terrible teams this year).

Funny, when New England is 3-3 its ok, everyone has faith they will come back. When Pittsburgh is 2-3 god help us its the end.

Oh and being surrounded by skins fans, dad included, I know how they are doing more than enough. I must say my prediction of RG3 being better than luck has been spot on, but wow morris is a suprise. He looks like Mendenhall kind of.

The Seahawks are the giant beaters (er... Packers and Patriots beaters) this season I guess.

Here's what I typed on my Facebook profile page after last night's game:

"I sometimes snoop in on Facebook fan pages of certain sports teams after games. After San Diego's epic Monday Night Football fail last night (up 24-0 at home to lose 35-24), some SD fans are STILL very upset. Heck- I'd be upset too as a fan if my team gives up a lead that large to end up losing! Then again, certain Facebook sports fans take losing in different ways- ranging from 'we shouldn't have lost' to 'fire everybody and start over fresh!' Hey- somebody has to lose. That's not only sports, but life as well."

I often times look at certain Facebook fan pages of certain teams to see how they respond after wins and losses. Man... the San Diego fans are still pissed off. The blame game usually ranges between Philip Rivers and Norv Turner according to disgruntled Chargers fans. All I know is- don't forget what QB you're going up against, San Diego. Denver basically punked San Diego last night. How can you live with yourself being up big at home... and lose? That is just an absolute fail.

NFC West >>>>

Fine example of parody in the league, there are no weak divisions anymore it seems.

All 4 teams in the NFC East could realistically win the division. Though it still favours the Giants.

Also, anyone see tight end Niles Paul hit on Marcus Sherels?
