NFL General Discussion

And the soap opera for the trading of Tebow ironically ends just like it usually does with Tebow: Suspense and drama.

Tebow chooses the Jets over the Jaguars.

Deal is same as before but the kick back in the contract will be split between the two teams.

Jets got Tebow I heard. What a dumb move. So now Sanchez is a backup or what?

Nope, Sanchez still starts but the worst thing is that the QB with the best arm, Greg MacElroy who was out for last year is probably now going to be cut.

The Vikes signed Jerome Felton, Letroy Guion and Geoff Schwartz so watchout...

...Because they are going for the first pick in the '13 draft.

I feel like Charlie Brown in the Halloween special, "I Got a Rock".:(

Am I wrong in thinking Grossman is better than Tebow. Yes the Skins re-signed sexy Rexy. :ill: Guess RG3 has a decent backup.

Man I feel bad for Jets fans.

The way cromartie sounded in his tweets he didn't seem too happy Tebow was coming to town.I'm not saying for sure, but Cromartie may ask to be traded.

On a positive note I can see Elway singing "I got 99 problems, but a Tebow ain't one".

Sorry forgot to multi-quote.

No you are not wrong in thinking that.Rex Grossman is a much better than Tebow.

In terms of throwing accuracy, Grossman is better. In terms of arm strength, Tebow is obviously better. Grossman completes more passes, but Tebow can run. Meh, evens out .

Comparing Rex Grossman to Tim Tebow... :shudders: :scared:

In terms of putting on a football uniform and taking up a spot on the roster, Tim Tebow is better. He'll figure out how to throw accurately eventually. Rex Grossman has almost zero value.

Sexy Rexy is not on the 'Skins, he's Tim Tebow's new coach.

People said Jamarcus Russell would learn to throw more accurately. I'm just skeptical. The only reason Tebow even has hype is because he was a 1st-round pick.

They are two different people, though. JaMarcus Russell is one of the laziest people Ive ever seen, he was never willing to work on being a better QB. Tebow on the other hand is a complete opposite of that, he has a tremendous work ethic and is willing to take time to get better.

Maybe you should avoid that sports forum I recommended. Comparing Tebow to Jamarcus Russel?    You'll be torn to shreds!

Oh man, that's a good laugher... I love how you think Tebow is only hyped because McDaniels was dumb enough to pick him in the first round. You really are something else.

Russell achieved nothing in the NFL...Nothing. Tebow has more wins in one season as a starter than Jamarcus ever had combined.

Sorry, he was good at LSU, but that never translated into success at the next level. Chris Leak? Andre Ware? Tony Rice? Same thing, but they were never overall Number One picks out if college, either.

That's one of the posts I'll choose to forget . I still have a lot to learn. Anyway, Troy Aikman has stated that he thinks Romo is better than he was. Thoughts on this? I think either Aikman is on something, or he is sick.

Aikman took a lot of hits to the head in the last two years of his career, and now has to work with Joe Buck, which is like getting hit in the head repeatedly.

Aikman > Romo. It's not even debatable. He was probably just hyping him up for TV because Jerry Jones asked him for a favor.

Actually, I think Troy Aikman is probably one of the most underrated quarterbacks of all time. I suppose he had a lot of weapons, but winning three titles with two coaches through incredible pressure while dealing with an egotistical owner... does take some skill. He's never in anyone's conversation about some if the greatest, for some reason.

Damn, Kendall Langford is a Ram now. Steve should be happy. He'll make the line a lot better.

The Rams are actually doing something good? I was just giving up all hope.

Here's a look at the Panthers new updated logo.

The more I look at it, the more I like it.

There are a lot of stupid rookie mistakes in the logo though. Chris Creamer's sports logos forum has been all over it.

Yeah reading that, the "lazy" right eye is the only thing that really bothers me, but I still think it's an improvement over the original logo.

All I know is I've been blasting UniWatch trying to find leaks of the Nike kits that come out tomorrow. I hope they don't screw it up too badly, considering how atrocious and horrifying their college gear (save for Oregon... most of the time) is.

But how good is the logo in the 40?
Is it a student of graphic design?
And does the logo have it's own Twitter account?
