Not one person said anything good about carbon in this thread, and that is saying something. The Next Need For Speed might be something like Need For Speed: Turbo, or Need For Speed: Slipstream, or something else tacky. Do we need to Autosculpt every milimeter on a car? Or enjoy every milimeter driving?
The Scenery is better than Gran Turismo 3's scenery in Hot Pursuit 2. The Helicopter used to throw spike strips on the road, shoot missiles at you, and put bombs everywhere. But if you dodge them, it can hit an AI car.

The A.I. has like no problems with the cops in the recent need for speeds. In HP2 they can be arrested and thrown in the police cruiser during a race, forcing them to loose. Do you see spike strips on the track for the AI to run over anymore? How about the ability to drive a 600HP Mercedes CLK GTR, 668HP McLaren F1, and others? Now gone. We shouldn't have to play a game from 2003 to have better gameplay and more graphics.
Also EA don't care obviously. They can make Madden 08 by adding all the new players and trades and fix nothing else, and still get away with it, selling like hotcakes. 👎
