Group C Race Results

Unfortunately, I dropped out of the first race because of Lag and slowdown issues so I'll have to rely on SteveO or someone to get me the results.

The second race at Brands Hatch was great and Hog did an admirable job of holding me off until he went wide on the back section.

The third race was again rather tough on THE HOG, he was in the lead until I pulled off a rather scary pass coming out of the first turn. Then he stayed a close second until lap 8... then got booted. He of course has the choice to take the 2nd place points or re-run it tomorrow.

The servers are crap and the 5 second penalty thing is total bull.
I enjoy these races, but the game is pushing me to borderline insanity.

I got a nasty-gram from power5567 saying he got taken out on the first turn at Donington. I saw it out of the corner of my screen but no idea what happened.
God this gets ******* old...

I doubt it was done with malice knowing who was racing in this group, so just let it go and dont worry about it, if power5567 has a problem then let him PM the person involved?

Thanks manny that stingray was too fast i almost lost that evo into the wall at least 4 times i was pushing that hard to keep up so i decided to face it and stick with second and hope you monumental ****ed up Its bin a long time since me and the EVO danced and i have to say i have missed that car it was so fast and the handling was spot on thanks T12's tune as a base tune with some extra little tweaks.

the lotus race i am sorry if i got in your way i could not really tell if you could take me easily or not so i decided not to let you past untill you were on my bumper for at least 2 seconds then i went wide and you got me, nice racing mate in both races.

as for the choice on points i will take 2nd place points instead of a re race.

I cannot remember an incident at the start only the 1 lap warm up i will check my camcorder. i lost some footage from tonight as my memory card was full an it stopped recording

Guys i need to admit something in group C race three the car i used was the Evo, now this is not an excuse but i suffer from a really bad back due to a car accident a few years back, i could not sit down in front of the TV due to the pain so i asked Collette to take over, i let Collette take the pad and do the race instead of me but i still kept the Mic in my ear and watched whilst pacing the room in a lot of pain

If you want to exclude my points from race three i will fully understand and accept the decision, i should have said something whilst the race was ongoing but i did not again i apologise and accept any decision that is made regarding race three.

Great races today guys, I had a lot of fun. I went into the races with the results already in my mind. I knew that silverstone was one of ricky's fav tracks and that he would be fast, Addictions was also going to be fast just base on his past results. I was just hoping for some points. Ricky got booted on lap 5, in first placem, with a 9 second lead. After he left adddictions joined the party by eating my 3 second gap down to "HE'S ON YOUR BUMBER". He was clearly faster then me but stay just out of passing range in the places where he was faster. My goal here was not to be the first to make a mistake. Addictions would get down to about .030 off my bumber and then drop down to 2-3 secs back, and walk me down again. Great race adddictions I had to turn off my hud, just to stop looking at the split time and focus on driving. BH Indy I didn't know how I would stack against everyone else but I didn't feel like I was strong through some of the turns costing my time that would be hard to make up. I did feel good on the last 3 right handers carrying good speed. I had contact with with Aldo on lap 5, I knew I was weak in the section but had always manage to get through with out given up a spot. This time I turn down a clipped Aldo's nose as he tried to turn under me. In the game it seemed like you ran into the back of me. Sorry about that, like I said I thought I had the line, didn't mean to get you off your game. After that I was able to pull a gap in some section from Adddictions to where he wasn't close enough to pass me in my weak sections. Ricky was on fire again for race two, running off with the lead. Race 3 was suppose to be my race, I even dreamed about it. But it was not to be. First turn I punted someone off the track, that hurts. Waiting for him to return to the track put me in last place. I never saw ricky again. I tried to fight hard and put pressure on anyone in front of me. But in the end I was just hurting my cause as I would get to close and bump someone, wait for them to pass and try again. Sorry about that guys. Can't wait to see the video addictions

I don't have a problem with it, hell if you're in pain it was either that or pull out of the race right? No worries, tell her she's welcome back anytime. Pretty cool lady you've got there SteveO... 👍

Well if I had it wouldn't have been the first time, would it. That Stingray's pretty much a monster, but it shifts it's weight around so much it can be hard to control.

Oh, and that tap at Donington was no problem. I was really trying to keep inside as much as I could and I had to scrub off a lot of my speed turning that tight. I was more worried about hitting you at that point, since I couldn't see you.

Easily, no. I was trying to pass you, but I was having trouble. Any small mistakes you made, you recovered from quickly enough to prevent me from making a clean pass. I think that makes the most sense. You worked hard for that 2nd. Nice job all around. 👍

I just figured I'd wait it out and see if I could get on your nerves a bit. You were running good laps and I was beginning to wonder if I should try something when you went wide. thanks mate well i think i went wide becase my camcorder start beeping behind me and stupidly i turned round to have a look at what was wrong by time i looked back i was on my way down a dirt trail lol
