Your cool, it was first time i had driven the Zonda on pro with everything turned of, so was a bit unpredictable in the corners.

I think I have sent everyone a PSN request, if I have missed anyone please feel free to request me. I cant race this weekend, but look forward to racing soon.

Nice work mate most people bierly get round the track 1st time with no assists in the zonda

It's really nice to see that race once again. That was an exceptional driving there!

yea you really made it look easy getting from the back to the front of the pack, even after you crashed behind me on the tight section of the track you caught back up so fast it was like you had a rocket strapped to that thing.

you also made picking off manny look easy even tho manny was far in front of me

Sadly I helped that along by putting my right rear tire on the curbing and spinning out. :yuck:

But the question to darkos still stands... If you run into someone causing them to go off the track you must allow them to re-pass you. Did you let SteveO re-pass?

I was interested how that happened more than you, and i got my answer in the video. While i had no one in front of me i could just go full throttle. But you catch arvore and stuck behind him, because he was slower than you and you didn't take any risks. I was behind you just before Finish line just like Manny was behind me cutting all my 5 seconds lead to into just 1,5 sec after he spin he's car.

I'm curious... did you let SteveO get ahead of you again after you ran into the back of him in the early part of the first lap?

No i know that no one is interested in our after race memories so there is no point to seat and write them down. But i am gonna quote myself again.

race 1 Nordschleife this wasn't Flawless Victory but I'm dedicating it to SteveO

Just after we started this 3 lap race SteveO in the very first corner manage to overtake me, and shortly after that i hit his car unwittingly and caused him to spin and being hit by someone behind me. I did slow down so he could overtake me and regain his position, but i saw in my rear view mirror that someone else also crashed into him and while i cruised slowly waiting for him i saw that others profit from this situation and the time difference now was 8 seconds, so if i wait for him and let him to overtake me and then try to fight back i will lose to much time to leading pack of Manny arvore and HOG. So i hit acceleration pedal and decide to start crazy chase after HOG's butt. I saw immediately that time difference between me and Manny was 9 seconds so probably that was it! Just like i wrote earlier as i quote myself from earlier post

So knowing that Manny is fast so i forgot about him and focused on HOG, and i saw that arvore is close to him so maybe, just maybe ..... And crazy chase was on, i saw that slowly but regularly gap between me and those two is getting smaller and smaller, finally in Nurburg section i was so close to those two seating on HOG rear bumper i get to close and delicately bump his butt, that cause me to lose all that time that i gain back, AHGRRRR :ouch: But lucky for me Nurburg is tricky and HOG was not that quick so very quickly i regain that time. I didn't remember now where exactly i did overtake HOG but second lap was all about to catch arvore, and just shortly before Aremberg Bridge i did take his 2nd position in the race. That was very early stage of 2nd lap and Manny was five and a half second in front of me, so if no one stay between us two i started my lap record attempt.

5,5 Second lead was shorted to just 2 seconds in third lap and probably i would not take any chance to fight with Manny knowing that overtake him would be almost impossible but suddenly i saw his car spinning out of his control and that was it! I didn't have any mercy for his mistake. While i was like
hura.gif
he was like
zly.gif
That mistake cost Manny 5 seconds, so having that in my pocket i just relaxed and cruised to Finnish line.

That was definitely the best race I've ever had in this entire league and that one Extra lap did change exactly everything.

I didn't full stop, just slow down and watch as three cars overtake me but stevo was not one of them, he probably didn't push "restart" button but instead try to get back on track in normal way. I was watching how the cars pass me by, and time was flying 4 seconds,...5,....7,....8. That was exactly like you said.

The problems occur when people start thinking, "if I take too long passing this guy the leader is going to be too far ahead to catch." So they become reckless in their hurry to move to the front. That's what ends up making people angry

In this situation i was taking very long time to wait.

I did hit him but also hit brakes not wanting to crash into any one, but just like i wrote two times before Nring race that VW has lazy brakes. I did that with HOG. I get to close behind him and and then i went off the track, HOG did the same thing with arvore. In the video he first says sorry mate, then he's going off the track just like me, and then swearing at almost every one. I did that with you when we race each other one time, but back then i didn't have enough time to hit brakes when i saw your red brake lights, i didn't expect that you could ever touch brakes in such place.

Just to be fare here, i won that race but i wouldn't have if i would wait for SteveO and pick the fight from back there and one extra Lap was big helper. So in all fairness taking that victory from me is fine with me, ill take any penalty for two crashes, all tough in HOG video i didn't see direct contact between him and me, it looks like he went of track going way to wide.

I dont think it was a case of not taking risks my car just did not have the power or grip to get past him safely somthing you had no trouble with what's so ever in fact you had unrivaled grip on the video all the smoke i see coming from your car is the smoke flowing from the wheels of the car in front of you.

At the ring i started in 3rd i managed to overtake Darkos to take 2nd i pulled away a little but under braking for a bend i was hit quite hard and spun into the barriers, the impact bounced me back on to the track directly into Hogs path he could do nothing about it and hit my rear right this spun me completely around (boy i was dizzy) and facing the wrong way.

The reason i did not hit reset was that this would have put me into the middle of the track in front of everyone and this would have caused mayhem, so i waited untill everyone had passed lit a fag and just cruised around slowly untill the others finished.

I even stopped in that pub at the bottom of the hill and had a pint
man those German barmaids have big tits

Grip is the key, no doubt that. But there is something else that kind of bothers me in your driving. It's the manual gearbox. Let me explain.

I don't like do races in slow cars, really i hate them all. And racing slow car like VW on N-Ring worried me twice as hard, when you going in slow car you have the time to focus on driving and changing gears and using manual gears should also give some advantage over automatic gearbox. I wouldn't worried so much for a fast race but those slow once, yes! The thing is that during this race you didn't have that advantage over me. Well maybe you did but all off that went into air because lack of grip.

What advantage what are you talking about if anything people using automatic gears have the advantage.

DO you have any idea what i have to cope with during a race, i have to cope with clutch so now i cannot keep one foot on the accelerator and 1 foot on the brake clear disadvantage there.
then i have remember the correct gears for corners.
then i have to worry about what RPM my car is at before i make a down shift or my car will go side ways.

In fact i am not going to list all the disadvantages as i will take up the hole thread.

So better still why dont YOU go away and practice full manual and clutch and see how easy you find it to trade blows with some of the sh## hot drivers on here and then tell me who has the advantage.

Is this one of you r smutty posts like the one were you said my driving was nervous which i would love to know how you can tell that with out seeing how i react with the steering wheel, but dont worry as you will see i am no nervous driver when you see the video for this weeks race as thee will be a g25 cam included in the video.

Notice to League Members:

In forming this League we've had to try to enforce clean racing rules using a simple honor system, asking participants to please use Pro difficulty with no assists (except ABS), and to please not advance your race position when contact is made with another car.

However rules that are not enforced, are really just suggestions.

RULE:
For future races when it is brought to the attention of the League Organizer (me) that someone advanced their race position through contact, the errant driver will forfiet his final race position and be placed in a finishing position behind the person he contacted.

It is up to the driver who was run into to lodge a complaint against another driver. It is not my intention to look through the videos to find out who did what to whom. The complaint must be PM'ed to me and the errant driver by noon on Sunday.

All racing incidents are different. Some occur because of faults in the game like poor collision detection, car location mapping and internet lag, but these will affect us all impartially so the rule will be applied strictly.

There will be times a driver wasn't aware he forced someone off so a penalty may seem unfair, but those are the flaws of the system were using, so it will affect us all the same. The key to avoiding penalties is to minimize high risk passes and keep aware of the cars around you.

I have hesitated to bring rule enforcement to the League, but as we've grown quickly I think a simple but firm system is necessary to maintain the clean standards we all want to race under.
