Hey guys I want to take the time and say thanks. Thanks to Manny and the league which made me use the pro mode in the game, I didn't think I was going to be able to do it, but I did. Thanks to Femki who got me to notice my breaking points and my apex,even though I repeatedly crashed into him, he never gave up on me. If it wasn't for Hog and his videos I would have never tried the manual shift, now I love it, I can control much more of my corner entry and exit speeds. I have a lot of fun racing with you guys and meeting up on saturdays to race is one of the highlights of my week(is that sad?). Not trying to sound like a puss here, I just want to say things to you all. My lap times are dropping and I'm having a ball. I told you guys to watch out for me in the second season, time for redemption, lol. I would love to walk away from the races with podium finishes, but I would rather leave with you guys respect. Have fun and I'm going all out for season 2.

Sorry for all of those that I have bumped in the past, and those that I will bump in the future, it is not intentional.

NC you are definately so much faster now. No doubt about it. Last season was a runaway by darko and Nitrovious. This season is going to be a lot closer.

Well i am glad to see my efforts with the g25 are noticed :lol::lo: and well done, you will find with time your hand just does the shifting on its own even in the hairiest of situations, do you use the clutch also ?? as if you do watch out becase you can stall your car on the game if you let the clutch out to fast it can be soo annoying.

well last season was a learning curve for all of us and with the more seasons that are raced i think the racing will only get better and better.

some brilliant footage of the re race between me, you, femki and addiction close bumper stuff untill i had contact with femki.

I have the results of the race and will post them soon as i have done the videos, i will send them to manny.

nice racing guys after the 1st race i decided that i dont need to go hell bent and win as i am getting no points and the footage would be quite boring just me going round the track, so for the last 2 races i decided to stay with the pack more and get the most entertaining footage i can and boy is it entertaining.

sorry to femki i got carried away with getting good footage and decided to take a gap that i should have not took sorry mate.

i really do think that me femki nc-2-va and addiction deserve a pat on the back for the driving in ambush canyan i will let you make your own mind up on that when you see the video it dont start hatting up untill the 6th lap but its good stuff.

i did what you never at laguna point less laps on my own and i was goin for footage to. just couldn't help myself you see i did a rew tweeks on the R8 and now wished i had done them before saturdays race. she was running well i will post this boring vid anyway.

i also have great footage of femki for about 5 laps (will post this to) in this run i was just a camera car but like to think i kept femki's adrenalin pumping as i kept letting off the gas behind him

also hog i didn't pass you on the start straight at laguna because you had a little more straight speed and we would of ended up side by side, both in each others blind spot in the braking zone for turn 1 and we could of both gone off.
and on lap 9 i nudged you as you slowed down to much on the corkscrew and if i'd of passed i'd of been a cheat

Now seriously the groups are pretty even this week and i antecipate some nice epic battles for podium spots...👍

It was a shame I had so much lag and framerate problems in that race. It beomes impossible to drive when it's that bad. Femki and I had a nice battle for second for a while, but framerate got so bad I pulled out of the race.
It's wierd how some people have this problem and some don't. :confused:

I didn't think I would like that Scirocco as much as I do! The brakes are touchy as hell on it, so I just quit using them! :lol:

wish i found this forum a long time ago. all you guys have made me feel really welcome
i agree this weekend is going to be tough especially on practicing
i'm a man short in the company so i am driving trucks whilst drivers are on holiday which means i'm driving every day up untill the end of october (2am starts) as well as doing my own job as depot driver supervisor. by the time my 1st race started on saturday i'd been awake 20hrs 15 years ago this wouldn't of been a problem but i'm 34 now lol i aint over the hill yet but have a dam good view from up here.
but every spare moment i get i'l be ripping the black stuff up

p.s manny doesn't bother me one bit lol i'm in the second group which is going to be tough

to be honest mate i had been looking for you for 2 days no one had been online and i was searching the public lobby's for a good race and came up with nothing untill i got on your bumper the one corner you were giving me room and backing off on entry to corners so i had braking room and i thought wait up this guy is like me he is a clean racer.
Then you hit me and i went in a huff :lol: but then a message popped up with you apologising for the crash so i knew i had to tell you about this site and see if you knew about it, to be honest i thought you would reply saying that you were already a member.

i'm still a proper petrol head youve only got to look in my album
+ i have a younger mrs which makes me feel young. besides i only look about 26
17 years driving experience and many a track day gives this old dog an advantage of chasing you puppies road a track :)

could of been a worse run
my advice be switch the racing line off you'll lean the tracks twice as well ie fastest lines, braking zones where bumps are which ones you can power over which ones to back off on ect ect

I don't have time during the week just now to practice as I've got exams and school and such. I dont stick to the racing line religiously and dont really use their braking points. It just gives me an idea of where the track goes so that I'm not in the gravel even more than I already am :P
To give you an idea of how little I practiced... I made that 6.00 car 10 minutes before the start of the race, which is why I asked if NOS was allowed in the chat. ;)

DAM i wish i had used the mx 5 on saturday :lol:

well in the beginning i had some trouble with my brakes in the form of them throwing me to the right every time i used them but i lived with it.
also i had to be really careful with the clutch as if i let it out to fast the car hit the limiter but would keep gaining speed at the end of the video you will see this, so after a while i figured out why it was doing it and then started to use slow gear changes which most of the time stopped it hitting the limiter and reved normally.

then i was battling femki in his TT then on the 3rd lap he made a few mistake and i gained on him then he hit the gravel and i got round him on the outside of the corner, i must say that mx5 is a really good handling car it made that pass on femki with very little drama i was using a standard tune as well with custom gear ratios tho.

then one the 5th lap the bounce got me and femki addictions and nc_2_va caught up to me and then i lost it and they past me but that when the fun began.

we were doing so well it was by far the closed racing i have had on the game up to now.
addictions you should have gone for it mate, i saw you next to and was just about to tap the brake to file in behind you when you slowed down:)

then the inevitable happened one of us buckled and made a silly move and i am sad to say it was me sorry femki mate.

Yes Big Daddy is back and im not talking about this fellow.

(ski trip to Alps in Austria was fantastic, but) I'm back 👍 and I'm hungry for some racing! I was suppose to be back in this Sunday but my idiot friend had an big ski accident, there where bones and ribs broken, a helicopter was involved and operation in hospital. Due to this sad event my friends and me, was forced to get back with his sorry butt back to Poland.

So! Are you happy to see me? Any way I'm starting to go over every thing that was written due my absence and a few shocking ferry tales starts to appear, like Ferrari's in Shift, lol. GT5 will be released in 2010 but in winter or in 2011. That means Shift League should last longer that anyone would expect.
