How in the hell did you control that thing with 0 deadzone??!! Kudo's for doing as well as you did!

And I laughed for 5 minutes at that scream!! It was the perfect mix of scalded cat and a castrated Conan the barbarian... the F'ing H*ll at the end doubled me over. :lol::lol:

I've watched the end three times now and it just keeps... getting... funnier...

I dont get it what is wrong with o% dead zone i run 0% on my g25 and it eems fine.
But saying that the car does seem to turn in a little too well maybe the steering deadzone is the problem.

Yeah, but he's using a controller! That tiny little joystick is damn sensitive with no deadzone.

Ok so after looking at the video in part one 45 secs in, in hogs mirror you can see what happen. It looks like I ran into the back of steve0, but in the game it looked like we never touched, i didn't feel anthing and I never got the dirty pass message. Looking in the video it looks like my car was tracking perfectly, it never got upset or anything that would have resulted from contact. However I know that your a better driver than that steveo and should have known that you would not have just done a dougnut in the middle of the tunnel for nothing. The video doesn't lie and I owe you a big apology. I do want to state that if at that time, if I had the slightest feeling that it was my fault I would have stopped. I want to win a race just a bad as anyone else, but not like that. Thanks for the videos Hog.

Dont worry about it mate, there may have been a bit of lag involved?
 
I give up for tonight, about 4 times I got booted! Got booted when Manny sent me the first invite, Got booted from the Maserati race once it ended, got booted from the Ambush canyon race about lap 2 (typical as its the only race i practiced for) and then got booted from Laguna so switched it off. It obviously doesn't want me to race tonight :(

As I said on the other thread it was awful for me too. Lots of lag on every track.
 
Yea it was total disaster tonight, was getting booted earlier on as well when I was in a public lobby, never had it so bad before. I might try hard wiring my PS3 the next time and see if its any better.

It really does help to hardwire it if you can. I had problems even worse than tonight when using the wireless connection. I'm always hardwired now for League stuff.

For me hardwiring my connection and not using my mic has seemed to help. I think restarting the server inbetween races helps aswell.

Could somebody... anybody, tell me the results of the third race for B Group on Saturday? What order and who got fast lap. You don't have to post the pics or anything. I'd like to post it tonight.
 
I would only be able to tell you results for race 3 if I could get this vid on the PC.
Just so you know, my ps3 is hardwired which didn't appear to help last night :(

I say thanks to SteveO because I thought he was letting me past after the incident on turn one, which I now know was cause he was spun in the tunnel.
I apparently said "Pink cosworth in my mirror........love it" :lol:

I have the results of the race and will post them soon as i have done the videos, i will send them to manny.

nice racing guys after the 1st race i decided that i dont need to go hell bent and win as i am getting no points and the footage would be quite boring just me going round the track, so for the last 2 races i decided to stay with the pack more and get the most entertaining footage i can and boy is it entertaining.

sorry to femki i got carried away with getting good footage and decided to take a gap that i should have not took sorry mate.

i really do think that me femki nc-2-va and addiction deserve a pat on the back for the driving in ambush canyan i will let you make your own mind up on that when you see the video it dont start hatting up untill the 6th lap but its good stuff.

Was it that hit on lap 9 you were talking about? If so, I slowed to let you past on the straight :)

yea that explains a few things, i saw you move over that is why i did not turn more.

race results for saterday have been pm to manny
 
This was by far the most interesting race for me and the best in the evening(almost feel bad about Ambush Canyon since my car was so much faster than the others,and in Autopolis GP hog was faster and had win the race if there were more laps involved...) because it was a ride from last to second...
Just in the beginning of the race i got spun(in the first right hander) i don't remeber by whom,and it really doesn't matter,then i got to get up on the pack and had a pretty nice race from then on making my way to second avoiding mistakes and profiting from the ones others did:dopey: but i couldn't catch Stevo... ho no!!! the welsh was on fire :scared: and build up the gap between us...:grumpy: and got fastest lap the 🤬 bastard...just kiddding great job(but i really think it was your wife driving):):lol::D,but just for a few tenths...
All and all a good racing night...👍
Let's wait next week will bé even better...and i think if everyone is onboard it might be reconciliation night...:dunce::embarrassed::cool:
 
Next week shal be a challenge, hope everyone is ready for some close racing and plenty of pressure :)

Can't wait, going to put quite a bit of practice in this time and try and get a decent result this time :lol: Never drove the Carrera GT so I take it I'll have to put loads of practice in for that :lol: (Is it a tier 4 car or 3?)

The Carrera GT is Tier 4.

I agree with everyone's impression that next week's races will be a real driver's challenge. arvore came up with these races and I thought they were a great idea. Thanks arvore! 👍

Awesome stuff man! I really enjoy these videos, it gives a look into the race from another perspective. Sorry for the "squeeze-by" on the last turn before the start/finish straight.

Thank you manny for taking my suggestions...i think we can expect a very even event with some nice close racing going on, the slower cars will provide that everyone is less likely to make mistakes,miss breaking points and rear ending the next guy...but will demand great awereness beacause we should be racing very close to others...
As for the carrera GT in spa it was for pleasing the speed adictds and fast guns out there...:) i was thinking of the CXX but i think the carrera gt handles much better so...if you can take the Maseratti in Autopolis i'm sure you will andle this combo very nicely...👍
 
Hey guys I want to take the time and say thanks. Thanks to Manny and the league which made me use the pro mode in the game, I didn't think I was going to be able to do it, but I did. Thanks to Femki who got me to notice my breaking points and my apex,even though I repeatedly crashed into him, he never gave up on me. If it wasn't for Hog and his videos I would have never tried the manual shift, now I love it, I can control much more of my corner entry and exit speeds. I have a lot of fun racing with you guys and meeting up on saturdays to race is one of the highlights of my week(is that sad?). Not trying to sound like a puss here, I just want to say things to you all. My lap times are dropping and I'm having a ball. I told you guys to watch out for me in the second season, time for redemption, lol. I would love to walk away from the races with podium finishes, but I would rather leave with you guys respect. Have fun and I'm going all out for season 2.

Sorry for all of those that I have bumped in the past, and those that I will bump in the future, it is not intentional.
