Can i just remind the person who was driving the MX5 in the second race, when you ram someone off the track please wait and let them regain that place from second to last nice one 👎

Yea i got distracted by your cosworth parked up and crashed i got some good footage of me shooting by you in rear view mode.

Well... fun but tiresome evening. 2 disconnects and then an average race at laguna (it was a fun race).
Hog: I'm so sorry if I hit you. You know I would have let you past if I had known (after all, that is what got me last place or something in the road america race last weekend).
Where was it that I hit you? Addictions said something about us being side by side???
Also, in the second race, thanks for letting me past SteveO
Lastly, I was in 6th I think in the second race, then was booted after 8 laps, do I get those points?

no hard feelings mate but i dont know how you expected to get round that corner with out contact, you need to take a bit more care mate.
you came from behind me so you knew i was there and tried to take me on the inside.

also i would like to add that people really have to give each other more room.
femki and arvore you have done it to me a few times coming into a corner you give me no braking room so then i have to miss my braking point and almost come off or come off the track, and all so i dont ruin your race by putting on my brakes and you crashing into me.
And well i dont want this to sound nasty but it bloody annoys me becase i take so much care by giving people the room to brake and giving room for overtaking and then i dont get shown the same back.


as for addictions thank god our paths crossed, i was a bit nervous about you hoping you weren't going to come in and turn it into a destruction derby but i hadn't of worried your better than me mate, you have really good judgment mate as in overtaking and applying the pressure, i was well impressed nice debut to the league mate.

as for the videos some great footage the best so far and that is because we get to see a few people in action form a different camera perspective you will see what i mean when i upload the vids

Being the first weekend of Season 2, everone prepared and got mentally psyched up to do well. This of course causes a certain degree of tunnel vision.

To make matters worse you can't see the guy next to you and crash impacts are often only felt by one of the two who come together. (arvore and I discovered that while racing each other a while back.) So, tempers flare and things are said which aren't well thought out. We need to control the urge to accuse, and if an apology is offered we have to assume it was unintentional. Possibly the other guy isn't even aware it happened. (This comment is not aimed at anyone in particular by the way)

So, Nitrovious has quit. I talked with him and I don't think he'll be back.

So we have to ask ourselves, do we want a League to race in or not.

sorry stevo but i think he is rite i looked at the vid and in my rear view mirror it seems there was a hold up at the start with your car and dont take me as being patronising i just thought i would say mate just to clear the air:tup:

If you're referring to the corkscrew at Laguna on the first lap, I apologize, I broke too late and held on for dear life as I took you on the inside. Tell ya what, I have to do a make-up race for Ambush Canyon, you can race in that lobby with me and drive without consequence.

I understand what you mean by leaving room for people and being frustrated by it. I've many times stuck to the outside to let a faster car pass only to drop a tire in the dirt and end up spinning out and lose several places.

well i dont want you to think my post was a temper rant as it wasn't i am simply saying people need to give more room its more of an informal thing for future races like you have said before this is in its early stages and creases will get ironed out over time.

I enjoy the league and no matter how meany times i get hit and took of the track it will always be better than the public lobby and i am thankful for that and most of all i appreciate that along with all the time consuming hard work you put into the league.

non of use want a dirty league and if we are doing something wrong we should feel comfortable enuf to point it out.

i think i should have quoted it a bit better it wasn't really this race as were not really near for long, its more in past races its like i say i dont want it to sound nasty but at the same time i dont want to say nothing its just a friendly kind of heads up thing.

see its hard on a keyboard to put emotion into what you are saying and sometimes things in writing sound different to how your trying to say them if you get what i mean

No it was just coincidence that I posted that right after you posted. It wasn't aimed at you.

It's very difficult to actually pass someone in this game. I generally don't try it, because you never know if you've actually gotten cleanly past them or not. I usually follow them until they make a mistake. If they don't make a mistake then I settle for finishing behind them.

R.W. and I had a huge battle on Ambush Canyon lap after lap, but he never made a big enough mistake that I could get by. I tried a couple times when he went wide, but he came back onto the racing line and spun me. He didn't do it on purpose, I don't think he knew quite where I was. So I settled for second place.

Hey steveo, I think you are talking about me in that second race. This was at the start I was in grid behind you. From my view it seemed like you missed the light and never took off. I hit my brakes and hit you, from what I remember neither of us ran of the track and I continued to race. I try to play as fair as possible, but it seemed like to me that you never moved. If I am wrong then I apologise, hopefully there will be videos again. Steveo if you remember in race 1 we had contact and I waited and gave you the position. Please believe me I say it was not intentional. Had some good races today, took 3rd on autopolis:tup:, I just didn't want to get a DNF. Second was a good one I stayed alone for the most part. I had fun trying to chase arvore down. The 3rd race wasn't as good, I seemed to have had a lot of screen lag. People would just appear in front of me, I would see them ahead on screen watch them run off the road and then phuff, their right in front of me. I'm not complaning, I still had fun racing with you guys. Playing with you guys is getting my lap times lower.

I enjoy being a part of a clean racing league. However, I feel it's my fault that I have brought the continuance of the league into question. I really do feel guilty that I'm the reason Nitro left. I don't want to be the reason that the league dies.

thats really cool of you to say mate. i'm sure you had a mirror full of MX5 in race 2 till i past you lol i'l put that down to beginners luck. hope it was'nt me that took the cossi out mine was the white mx5 if so i never left a thing and plee to the powers at to your you to rerun the race.
in race 3 i was not impressed at all the lambo's in the line up against my R8 but really enjoyed chasing the hog and trying to keep the pressure on. as it was my 1st session and 1st impression count.
i loved every second of racing you guys and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for putting a smile on my face as big as the one i get from getting my knee down on my bike.
and a special big thanks to the hog for putting in contact with the forum. thanks man...

Nice to have raced you mate, on the last race you did really well to keep up i used to use the audi R8 a my weapon of choice but it just dont keep up with the lambo's i shot my self in the foot by playing round with my lambos gear ratios i really needed a higher final drive and 2nd and 3rd gear.

Was that on the second last corner or something. If it was that, from my view it looked like you were getting the tail out and holding it fairly nicely. I cant stand the woeful collision detection in this game online. It makes it so hard to have very, very close racing (rather than just close).
I'll watch the video tomorrow and I'll get it on Youtube.

I see you haven't got over that nasty bump at beginning of tokyo's race last week really bad judging from my end should have waited for you but only realized it watching the video...but i thought that was water under the bridge...
Other than that i always try to keep it clean...

Are you kidding ? of course we do...
Like you said it was the first event...let«s hope next week with some slower and more predictable cars things run smoothly...maybe everybody has to be more understanding with each other...
And remember this is just a VIDEOGAME no need to get upset about it it's all about enjoying a nice time with other racing fellows...👍

My statagy during for Ambush was to be consistent and run the same lines and not make no major mistakes since I just started racing Ambush this week. I was shocked I had such a big lead half way into the race.

I'm for keeping the league open but the drama needs to stop! The last two weeks there's been unnecessary drama because of knee jerk reactions. Were getting away from the foundation of why this league was started.

We all want to run clean races so if there is contact please do the following:

• Assume the contact was accidental.
• If the person keeps going, assume that they did not know contact had been made.
• If you believe it was a reckless or intentional shunt, wait until after the race (and until you've calmed down), and send that person a message either on PSN or here. (People will react much more reasonably one on one than they will in a chat room or public forum).

I can think of no faster way for this League to fall apart than for us to start being overly sensitive and intolerant.

One of the true benefits of doing this virtually than in real life, you can't really stop on the side of the track, get out of your car, and have a smoke at a real track.
