Sweet i will look forward to it nothing better than some nurburg action and no ABS in the rules suits me fine as in the league i find that i have to brake sooner with no ABS Than the people using ABS.

That is true! It makes a bit difficult in this game to find where is the point when the tires looses ther grip without ABS, but I think it is more fun and it makes the skills better.
I'm a bit neurveus about the connection problems nowadays. It will be a big luck if there won't be any drop out during a half an hour race.. I don't know if the problem is with my internet provider or in the servers..
(Yesterday I've looked after that there is an oppurtunity to make a 25 lap long race on the "green hell". It would be interesting to make a ~3 hours long run

25 laps now that is an endurance race.

Tell me something. You are faster using Manual Gearbox and all those silly clutch thing. Or this is just for fun. Because Shift isn't exactly a simulation game. Probably not even close. I'm just curious because I've been practicing and to be honest i don't think I'm cut out for such hardcore experience.

Well manual gearbox and no ABS this is something i could try to swallow. I'm asking because Nordschleife is my fav. track. And i would love to race with you but my times in That Audi i did, are 6:56:xxx without hitting NOS. But with automatic gearbox and with ABS add. And as for manual and H gearbox..... well 7:20:xxx. No need to explain that unexperienced with downshift and with Clutch, and that god damn H gearbox. This is nightmare, I've already learn 1,2,3 and 4 gear. Those are easy but 5 and 6 are getting into my nerves. I'm simply embarrassing myself. I just hope that till Friday i can practice enough because when finally i master this whole gear play, the hell breaks loose

just go with the paddles darkos at that stage of tune the RS4 has a sequencal box fitted not a H pattern if it was stock then go with H
drive to whats fitted to the car is what i'm trying to say

i cannot really comment as i have never known any different from the clutch and H pattern but i would say you can go a lot faster with AT gearing, but its not as challenging i use it simple becase i dont want to get used to not using it.

If i'm right, the rs4 is H patterned in the tuned stage too.
You can see it when you make the setup of the wheel to "manual clutch".
Cars what has sequential gearbox has a smooth shifting. If it is an H patterned you can hear a "strange"voice between the 2 two gang.

If someone has other experience, please share with me, maybe I've got wrong.

Big respect, but I know it is much easier if you drive with automatic gearbox

You are right, this game is not a real simulator, and you will not be much faster if you use the manual shifter and the clutch. I just love to shift, to learn the techniks, and if I can not play with the GT5 now I make a little practice for it. It is just for fun for me, and I asked the people to use this because I'm interested in how fast are other drivers with these rules.

My personal best around the Nordschleife is around 7:01:xxx, but with a lot of mistakes and by using the nitro.

I will try with manual clutch next time, to look how does it feel.

all i'm saying is read what it says when picking drivetrain 1,2 or 3 when selecting parts for your car drivetrain tune 3 = sequential (not my fault the game has flaws lol)

I haven't seen it yet, but theres still a lot of bugs in this game..

I saw there will be a new kind of tournement. The GTP racing league is till continous?

Our first practice before the endurance race will be on Friday at 22:00 GMT.
We plan the race will be on saturday at 19:00 GMT.

Please tell me if the date is not good, we'll try to find the best time for everyone.

The practice will contains 2 type of races after each other.

- one manufacturer race with the Nissan r35 (not spec-v) 3 laps

- one tuned car race (with 14 rated cars) 3 laps

Yes, I was thinking a lot of the timing of the races because of the league races.
I hope the league members will think I'm good enough for the races by the thursday prcticing, then I'll delay the 2nd race

you don't have to be skilled my friend, just clean
i race in the league and if i know someone is quicker than me and i'm holding them up i let them past
it's just good clean fun at the end of the day
i was really slow when i started but racing with quick guys on here makes you faster

if i should try get lower than 8min atm, i wouldnt even be able to finish 1 full round tbh - dmg + way too much grass/spin time...

So ill wait a bit till i can do decent times i guess. But thanks for the info with 7 min being too slow. That motivated me a lot hehe

you keep at it mate 8 minutes is'nt really slow but i can take 15 seconds off that in my 6.0 MX5
but about get your average in the RS4 because i can't tame it

Nice run would be more impressive with no ABS and MT gears like me.

i am happy to race lower power cars but it would be nice to no at some point we will be driving bigger power cars.

anything in tier 4 really the more it tries to kill you the better for me.

CCX yes, and as for Zonda R, ill put my chances in DBR 9 against any Zonda R. That would be an interesting Showdown.
