Hehe, that's good but No! I mean hiding your true potential during practice runs and then during race blasting competition to kingdom come.

This race is truly doing to be won by the person with the most concentration and consistency through the laps.
After 10 laps my mind mind started to wonder off and my concentration broke and it was a mess untill the 15Th lap.

This is going to be one hard race for any one that splits from the pack and end up on there own as it will be even harder to keep your concentration for 20 laps driving on your own.

Nope even the one with the fastest evo will still be prone to a bit of concentration loss.

Just a quick clarification question on the race this weekend. Is it EVO's only or any rated 10 car?

Any 10 rated car. I already know at least 3 driver goes with evo, it would be great if we could go with the same car, but because this is first endurance race and it won't go untill first blood:) , I don't mind if people chose an other car

I was basing my judge upon our first race at SPA, also with 10 cars.

But i've sold my V8 Vantage and my tune for that car was also lost, so I'm unable to reach that time. But since every one is using EVO Well then i will go with the EVO too 👍.
 
Ok guys, I see it's time for giving information about the race.

Time: 2010-03-13 Saturday 20:00 CET 19:00 GMT

Rules: same as the Racing League rules, I think everybody can accept them!

Race1: 20 Laps on SPA with 10 rated car

(it is recommend to come with an Evo9 but you can use any other 10 rated car if you want. As it will be a test for someone)

Race2: 3 Laps on Nordschleife with 10 rated car

Race3: 3 laps on Nordschleife with 14 rated car

If anyone will have enough energy after this all :ill: can race darkos with Unrestricted Cars + Reward cars :)

It would be great if someone can record the race, i'll try it too, but as it will be my first try to record I don't know what quality it will be.

This is our first run in the "Endurance Races", it will be good for a test.
If you guys think we can repeat the races every week, we're gonna make a point-table as in the original league. It will be difficult to make a shulde for the races because the Racing League season 3, but if theres a big interest for this kind of race, we will work out something for this problem. I also have to find out how much points will each driver get.
So there're a lot of questions, I'm looking forward for any proposal from everybody.
 
Honestly i don't know if after SPA, anyone would have strength to pull 3 Nordschleife races. Two well yes but last one with Unrestricted, let's call this off.

That race was just for your wish, but I agree with you, I'll be happy if I can finish all the first 3 races:)👍

We'll make it next time. If there will be any race next time after this 3 runs:lol:
 
The spa race should be pritty epic.
And the 14 rating at nurburg has me in 2 minds on what car to use either the gallardo which has the superior acceleration and top speed when the body kit is removed but it is a hard car to stay tight with it always likes to step out.

Were as the Audi R8 has the best handling for the ring but lacks in power.

Have you tried the RS4 on the ring? It also likes to step out, but with a little setup can help on it and it is realy fast. Or the GT-R 35 Spec-V? it has a very good grip, but a bit slower, anyway you can make 6:58:xx on the ring easily! I'll go with the gallardo If i can find a bit more grip in the setup:)

This might help choosing right car for 14.00. I just put this together during last hour. Off course you're have to put some work in those cars to force them to cooperate. Driving Audi R8 is like bonding with it using telepathy, you just think and R8 do that. Where others, well a little fight in some places is unavoidable.

Sadly I forgot about our national sales meeting this weekend and I won't be able to attend the endurance race :guilty: This race really had me intrigued with the quality of the racers and on one of my favorite tracks. I tested almost all cars like the EVO & Audi's and was in the 2:27/2:28 range. But then I tested the Vette and was shocked at the 2:23/2:24 lap times it was putting down. In my humble opinion the Vette should almost be banned because it would ruin the quality of racing with a 4 second per lap advantage...

I hope we will have races on SPA or on the Ring (I plan Silverstone and Road America too) next time if I can find a good time for it because next week League season 3 will start!

The only way this race could have been better for me is if Arvore & Manny were racing. But sadly Arvore will have a hangover Saturday and Manny will be shoveling snow :P But I would have been well satisfied if I could have put a a$$ whooping on Darkos :lol:
 
If Ricky doesn't play then probably there is no reason for me to play :indiff: I just wanted to have fun and stay on someone rear bumper for as many laps as i can, till i or he get tired or distracted.

Vette is not only too big advantage over any other cars in 10 range but, there is downfall really. It requires super skills to handle that beast.



Still love Eleonore much more. Despite that fact, I've failed to take her under magic 7 minutes on N Ring

So if we decide not to ban the vette then i will be using it but if a decision is made to exclude the vette i will be going for the EVO 8.

I think the Vette should be banned from the game full stop you just can't catch it especially if thefast1 or R.W are driving it. Curse that car.
