In future I think we will, but people also need to read the chat thing as it comes up during a race. If you don't, you miss things like that....

I think I speak for everyone when I say that race was a pile of....

Yes u do.

As for the reverse grid on the 2nd race, why?
I feel as if I got punished for doing as told.
So the person who quited the restart race, started on pole for the 2nd race.
And we who did ok in the 1st race, did not get points, and had to start at the back of the grid of the 2nd race.

I'm not out to get any1 in perticular, just that we need a clear set of rules for situations like this. Because this was no good.

Had no idea what was going on. Race started early?? last week race started really late. Then seems like you guys were doing a 1 lap roll before start?? Wasn't really up to waiting for the next race, so I just let out.:grumpy:

Seems like it's different Rules/Regulations every week.:ouch:

I vote the results for this race for void.
Too much vent wrong.

Rules were made up as we went along, rules and reg. werent followed (e.g. False start check).

I started the first race near the back then when we did the restart I went to the same place as last time then got nudged back places for some reason ... and FRAG dishing out warnings to everyone for dangerous driving? I couldn't overtake because he was off road every corner.

Dont know what to think anymore.

Unfortunately I couldn't join for the start of race 2. My internet seems poor and has been getting worse all week.

OP says qually starts at 6:30, for 20 minutes, people have just taken a long time to join, and the rolling start was because the start order was wrong.

I'm pretty sure it was said streight after race 1 that it wasn't counting?

I'm happy for someone else to host it, as I haven't had a chance to race properly given my previous connection problems, and I'll sort points tables and things like that.

Race two was pretty good. I had lots of fun racing with Priesty. From lap 4 onwards, it was wheel to wheel every lap on the pit straight and Kemmel straight. I started pulling away from him on lap 10, but made big mistakes through fagnes and stavelot, so we ended up close until the flag. Inseparable. The tires were really starting to go in the last few laps, so it was easy to make mistakes.

xUXIOUSx, can me and Mcglone (I don't want to speak for him, but he has shown up for every race just as I have) both be added to the series proper now that two drivers have withdrawn? Can my points be added to the table now?

I added the reserves in order they signed up. McGlone is a permanent driver, and given some people haven't shown for 3 weeks, I think they will be replaced, and top of the list to replace them is you :)

I signed up before mcglone, but as long as we all get spots on the grid, it's fine.

You were following preisty round the lap so I assumed you were behind him on the grid, then he got d/c'd and I confused you for him. Yes I did screw up turn three a couple of times but I took no advantage. I do not give respect to exaggerations of events such as used by yourself. All from BTCC will agree me to be a safe and clean driver where possible. Anything otherwise was likely due to the balls connection many were experiencing.

This could have been a good series with a great car, sorry Chris but don't be surprised if next week's attendance is lower than the last. I may show if I'm free.

No matter what happens to the previous result, we need å crystal-clear set of rules for matters like this.

Are we to restart the race If someone gets dc?

If Yes, how do we go about it?

Are we to void the first race If someone fails to do as told regarding the restart?

If Yes, is a reverse grid in race 2 fair?

I would say no to question 1 and 3...
IMHO.

I'm happy to void both races, or let them both stand. Lessons and rules need to be introduced either way.

Might not make the next few races tho,

27th is Liverpool Man City (will be at the pub) :D

4th Dec is a meal with the Mrs family :(

11th is my birthday so I shall be at the pub :D

Sorry iHealy!!

I too, won't be able to make the next RACE due to Family gathering this Sunday. I should be available the rest of the races. :guilty:

I hope everything gets straightened out this weekend. It is a fun car to drive and can be a good series.

xUXIOUSx... Hope you can get a grip of things and make the rules solid from here on out.👍

Great races! Shame about the numbers.
Yup, it was good racing. 👍

Sorry about the bumps in Race 1 lap 1. My lack of practice really showed at the start in race 1. Race 2 was great close racing from start to finish though, and even though I was learning the lines as I raced, I was in the thick of it. It was great respectful three-way battle from the start until xUXIOUSx had an incident and fell a few seconds back. Sy let me lead and a few scruffy laps from myself let xUXIOUSx right back into it. From then on, the three of us exchanged the lead for the rest of the race. Sy was leading on lap 15, I was second and I noticed he seemed to be struggling through the bends, perhaps with tire wear. I conjured up a strategy to overtake him on the straight and then try to pull away through the bends on the last lap if he indeed had greater tire wear. Didn't work out that way and I lost out on the straight to finish 3rd. Bit disappointed with that, but great fun nevertheless.
Here's the finish:

Was such a good race, I really enjoyed it. From the start I planned not to lead round the last corner and it worked out well that way given the slipstream :). A very close race, with no incidents.

I'll put the scores up tonight, all previous reserves are now permanent drivers :)

Hope to see you all next week

I'll be there!👍 Hope its a good turn out.

Is it still "False start check"?? That been resolved??:dunce:

Tokyo here we come.👍

How many people showed up last weekend?? Just seems like little activity in here.

Hopefully I'll get some pics up from this next race.👍

Only 3 turned up, Should be better this week, for some reason a lot of people we're unable last week, and quite a few were put off by Spa the week before

I look forward to seeing some good pictures :)

yea.. I was at spa, but late. Didn't get to race it. and last week was a family thing.

anyways...I think it should be better for the rest of the season. I think most of the issues we had are pretty much worked out. Many people seemed to get upset quickly. I think most part is due to lagging which ends up in some kind of bump/crashing issue. It happens.:ouch: For some reason iHealy's series, there was NO lag issues. Series ran very smoothly. Probably because it was less cars. I think we just gotta be patient with the 1st lap of each race. And people have to brake better.👍

Definitely, people just need more patience, they need to understand that they cannot pass on every corner. In a way I do like having smaller races, but a full grid is also very nice to see :)
