Nissan Silvia Fan Club

including headlights, hood, bumper, and fenders...not to mention the core support...

you're looking at around 2000 - 3000 dollars, depending on how you do it. 2k is the cheapest you'll be able to get it, and that's with the ****ty parts that my friend used. if you want to do it, spend 3g's and do it right.

a s13 silvia front end sounds like the better alternative , although i love the sexy s15 front end the silvia front end looks awesome too imho , i've been hearing the words skivieighty in my head for the past couple months if you know what i mean 💡

When I bought my car it came with the front fenders and front bumper for the S13 front end. I'm thinking about installing them next summer.

why next summer? why not now?

eluder, why would you want to be a skyeighty? it looks all bulbous and mismatched =[

the an S15 front is a silvia front ;]

Well, my friend just traded away his S13. He now has an S14 with S15 front end, which he's going to sell and replace with a stock one.

A friend of mine is looking at a very nice S13 with a strawberry conversion, very very neat! Will post some pictures if he decided to buy it.

Tis cool how everyone has a project going on! My conversion is about a month away and I cant wait, Ive been stuck with the CA(DE) for over 2 years now .. the wait is almost over.

very nice looking silvia you planning on a SR20DET swap ?

I ordered a kit for my 90' 240sx hatch... it'll be here sometime during the week, I'll tell you then :D ... supposebly it's direct bolt on I was told

Well, I'm now thinking of selling my S14. My plan is to get an S13 and mod it up similarly, and then I'll have about 2000-3000 extra, which will go towards an SR. Just have to get my parents to clear the sale (I was 17 when I got it, so it's in their name).

for the most part, body kit copies like the ones on raceonusa fit ALRIGHT. the front bumper and back bumper or valences will most likely need a little bit of modification, but the side skirts will bolt right up. you'll just have to drill holes in your side skirts to bolt them up.

epic, what type of kit did you order? i just bought real works side skirts from a shop that i go to alot, and they look pretty nice. as soon as they're on my car i'll take pictures. only problem is they dont match my front bumper and lip, so i might end up selling the sides or just buying a new bumper. let me see pictures of your kit when its installed =]

I ordered the type A kit

nah... don't have enough spare $$$ right now, but I def. need rear fenders cuz mine got into a drifting accident hehe :-(

which front end conversion?

but yeah, buy everything you can if you have the money, it'll turn out much better in the long run and you'll be happy with the money you spent.

When I bought my car it came with the fenders and front bumper for an S13 conversion. All I would need are the lights, mounting brackets and a hood....a carbon fiber hood!

holy crap thats expensive, I can get a RB20DET for 2000$... I was thinking somewhere around the 500-1000$ area.. found one for 600$ but has 90k miles, the CA18DET is nissans most reliable engine ever, but still, I know its an old engine and all but I need something with less than 70k miles and 500-1000$ price range.. with tranny, uncut harness, ecu, etc.

if you lived out here i could get you one with less than 30k for 700 bucks...but you're all the way in miami and my guy doesn't ship =\
would that be the whole clip ? or just a motorset with a little bit of missing stuff ? i think that would be worth driving out their and picking up , ... at that price

isnt the CA18DET supposedly stronger then the SR ? from whati read the CA block is supposed to be stronger and it is what nissan based the RB blocks off of....

gee, how come i didn`t find this place earlier?

anyways, i`m a pre-silvia owner. and hopefully i`ll soon own one again. owned a s13 RS13 hatchback with the ca18det engine. and yes. it is a beatuiful engine. so i`m prolly going for a new one in a couple of months ;)

on the discussion of what engine is best of CA and SR: i`ve seen it been discussed everywhere. and it`s no answer to it. if you want revs you get the ca, if you want response and drag you go for the SR. here in norway i`ve seen MANY examples on people getting 280-300 HP on the wheels with stock internals on both CA`s and SR`s. it`s all about how you build it :)

about the RB-engines the RB26 is my fav. alot better internals then the RB25 ;)
