Just remembered some other fast laps I've done the last month

7:06.xxx Ferrari 458 Italia (stock, sport soft tires)
7:05.xxx Lamborghini Murcielago SV Lp- 670 (stock, sport soft tires)
6:49.xxx Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car (stock, racing medium tires)

I actually set the same time with the Zonda R in game as the official record for that car is in real life. Was running "stock" and aids including ABS off (set the downforce up).

Wow, that Lancia Delta someone would suppose as a rally car to hit a low top speed for the Dottinger Hohe and thus be surpassed by the supercars.

I have actually switched top speed up to 320 if I remember right. Anyway, I'm going to do another lap with it on the ring the next hour, it's so fun to drive!!

No seriously, I got the GT-R trophy with a 7:28 something with a stock GT-R 06. I haven't been able to get a fast lap time with other cars because I always ended up crashing somewhere.

Becuse I can Now really, I did try it on the sport hard - and I was at least 20 second slower

But it's totally unreal and makes the car feel so dumb And Sports Hard are also overkill, you should drive it on some of the comforts, yes you will be slower, but it's not possible to go fast like that in real life, on any tires.

6:32.5xx - Tuned '06 Z06 751HP, 1178kg, Aero kit, Soft Slicks
6:12.xxx - '98 CLK-GTR w/ Medium Slicks

I think I have lots of room to improve on both. The AMG special events are good for learning the track. I had ABS = 1 for both laps.

Here's some times done with completely stock cars. I used for every time Sport Soft Tires. As you can see, I tested some FF cars to see wich is the faster. There's also a time done with the 599, and two with race cars. The race cars has Medium Racing Tires.

I wondered as there is no lap leaderboards out there on GT5 what is the fastest you have done the Nordschleife track in?

Please post you times with a picture (as proof) It can be any car any tune any tires!

Could see high 5's with some work.

6:30.339 Fairlady Z Concept race car. Stock setup. Softs. Car is slow 188mph but awesome in the twisties

oh yea all aids off tcs0 abs1 no driving line

With that car, me and a bunch of other guys I race with can do sub 6:10 times with racing softs and all aids of except abs 1.

Yesterday I tried the Mercedes CLK DTM car modded to 625 HP in practice mode. With all aids off except abs 1 I did a 6:01.5, that was only my second full lap and a few aborted ones, I think under 6 min is possible. The Fairlady Z Concept is even a little bit faster I think.

Edit. Just remembered our time is with Stage 3 Turbo which gives around 80 more hp. Still, I think around 6:10 - 6:15 should be possible.

I keep messing up my fast laps so that they don't count. I think my fastest counted lap so far is a 7:33 out of my tuned (not fully) BMW 120d. Has a dirty noise with the race exhaust.

i did 6.51 in a tuned gt 40. 860 bhp just 2 mistakes but i was well chuffed about my time and thought that is bloody fast untill i saw 3mins+ in other cars
