That was actually very tiring to film. . Because the screen is relatively small (22''), I had to kneel and couldn't fit the whole thing on the camera (my iPod) so had to zoom on important features. Holding a camera still(ish) in a similar position for 8 minutes made my arms tired (you'll likely see some shaking of the camera, sorry). It's also hard not to get my hand in there.

It shouldn't be blocked. I'm using standing YouTube licence and allowing mobiles and TVs to watch it (default settings). Anyone can watch it, rate it and comment.

No, I'm on my laptop right now, and only a huge line break replaced the video.

Nice lap 👍 Unfortunately, I don't have a capture card so I can't upload any videos. I do have an iPhone my sis has, so I could record it like what you did.

Why not? It's not the best solution, but better than none.

FYI, it took 7.5 minutes to do the lap, then after saving the replay another 8 minutes to record it, maybe 5 for setting up the camera etc. Then around 10 to get it onto YouTube and another 5 for editing description and title etc. All in all around 40 minutes per lap/video.

I can put the videos on the spreadsheet for all the quickest lap, Alex have some videos i will add in the spreadsheet, thx for the vids

I also PMed him about adding pics of the car as well, to make it a complete database and a leaderboard in same time.... i dont know if the editors of the spreadsheet are interrested to participate? we can set up something, like the first 100 cars for Alex, the next 100 for me etc....

True. I thought about the F40 time the same, need replay as proof, otherwise I can't believe it.

Have to give this car another go, maybe I'll be close to the posted time this time.

I did not tested, i cant say, some can do pretty good times with a DS3, but id say it require more precision with DS3, on the opposite for the wheel you need fast reactions, on the DS3 steering from left to right is quick with the thumb, but counter steer with the wheel you need fast reaction... once you get used to it its really nice!

I only use ABS1, without ABS i would need to practice my time would be slower for a while.

You will definatly prefer the wheel

I am now considering to buy a wheel, a bit confused whether to buy the Logitech Driving Force GT or the G27, ofcourse the G27 comes with the clutch but its also about 80 quid more expensive. I will probably buy one off ebay. What one would you guys recommend ? Also can a few of the people on here post times for the SLS amg on the nurburgring nordschleife with the DS3 controller only ? I just want to see how I stack up against the people still using the DS3 ?

I have a Driving Force GT...and I am disappoint(ed).
I heared many of them had problems, didn't believe it as it is a "quality Logitech/GT product", but mine starts having failures now more often, switching camera or pausing the game while doing strong turn maneuvers with the wheel. I paid 150 Euro's for it.
And I have a 5.1 system by Logitech, which I believe doesn't function to 100% anymore after a blackout. (The display is distorted now also).

So I would recommend you bying a G27.

I had a look at the updated spreadsheet timetable and noticed there was a "EU" question mark over the Honda Civic Type R EP which i set the time to, i can confirm it was the Japanese version and not the EU variant.

I know the EU version came out with 20hp less,without front lsd and red recaro bucket seats compared to the JDM version, and the Championship White colour was only for the JDM version as well. I know this as my previous car I had irl was a JDM EP3.

Ity will count in the ''tuned'' category.
just make sure you fill the lap information the right way.

I saw that my time in the tuned section for the Mini Cooper S '05 was updated but i was running on Sports Soft and not Racing Soft as the spreadsheet says.
