I'm pretty sure that testing a nuclear bomb by using the old "fire everything towards someone and having it land in the Sea of Japan" method won't be appropriate.

Have to wonder at what point China washes it's hands of supporting the nation and just lets it go. I assume it won't happen anytime soon, but the "nuclear bomb" could be a problem.

They should check the weather conditions as well, make sure the bomb doesn't fly off course and hit North Korea.

That may or may not be true. They surely can hit South Korea, Japan, Australia, etc. however they will never be taken seriously until they demonstrate that they can hit the U.S , I wouldn't be so dismissive on their tech because after all the black market does exist in that country.
