North Korea, Sanctions, and Kim Jong-un

That is the computer room where the keyboards are missing or when you click on the internet browser you get "No Connection"
Well, not exactly "no connection". But you do get a very truthful KCNA and Korean Peoples Army websites.

Also the Koryo Tours for traveling. No more no less AND NO NORTH KOREANS ALLOWED!

Those stewardesses look absolutely thrilled. Work morale must be at an all time high!

"The world will clearly see a series of satellites... soaring into the sky at the times and locations determined by the WPK central committee," the director of the North's National Aerospace Development Administration said late Monday

(with apologies to Famine for stealing his gif)

Is it not slightly amusing/telling that North Korean's space programme abbreviates to NADA?

I would be more worried about the times and locations they didn't mention as those are most likely going to be where these end up.
...Or in the Sea of Japan, or on a Saturn, or a Buick, or Pluto, or the Sun, or Sirius.

Well, that won't make international tensions any worse...

A South Korean "state approved" history is probably more likely to be correct than a Japanese or Chinese one though, all though the period between 1953 and 1988 may not be particularly trustworthy.

This makes my stomach churn.
It's not unheard-of. Our government tried it - they commissioned a review into the national HSIE curriculum to encourage a greater emphasis on "Australian values" when the humanities already have a pretty heavy focus on them. It was taken as an attempt to assimilate migrants into mainstream society, which is ironic because that was a large part of the White Australia Policy, one of the policies that the government was trying to rub out of the curriculum in the first place.

Seems to be more correct when it comes to the history of Japan and China, always ''Japan is the aggressor who oppresed their country and China became a Communist evil who supported North Korea and the Destruction of South Korea while South Korea was always the best country and a hero'', unfortunately every country with the exception of Germany always ''Modify'' history to make their country look better.

That reminds me of the Earl of Lemon Grab.
Use to be thin, but then went into power can became fat.

Unacceptable

It acts even similar. A Communist hellhole disregard of Human Rights.

Though to be fair, he is less strict than Kim Jong Il. But still an hellhole.

Both "imprison" and "Recondition"
Damn i forget to sing.

" Korean War...
... Come on grab your guns...
Go to slightly.... Distant land
Park Geun Hye...
... And Kim Jong U-un
The war will never end, its Korean War! "

I referring to the peace treaty that never signed by both sides.

Some states (reds) here have tried to prevent the teaching of the negative aspects (and there are obviously many) of our country's history through not funding the college board or banning the teaching of AP Classes.

Ours tried to overhaul the curriculum (that the previous government had just spent years and millions of dollars overhauling themselves) to include "a greater emphasis on Australian values", which was a none-too-subtle way of attempting to indoctrinate migrants (mostly Muslims, but the government was distrustful of all migrants in general) to the "Australian way of life" and probably would have come with a side order of "conservatives good, liberals bad" for good measure.
