Not So New - ONLINE B-Spec Challenge No.2 [2/1]

Lancia Stratos '73 is insane on Madrid. Bone stock, detuned to 169 hp, running 1:04 laps on Comfort Softs unattended w/ a level 25 Bob. Finished with a time of 5:25.5, 17 seconds ahead of 2nd

For the first race I used Mazda Atenza Sport 25Z '07 slightly uptuned to match the PP and then I cut the weight because this car is quite heavy. My lvl 29 and 28 took the lead on the last lap but it was not that intense tbh even if I needed to put my drivers in the between blue/red indicator in order fo them to pass faster.

For the second race I used Shelby Series One Super Charged '03, slightly uptuned to match the PP. This was a walk in the park. Took the lead at the end of lap 3 and almost no coaching.

For the last race I used the Pagani Zonda LM Race Car. That required some coaching as to my drivers not to fall asleep and increase their pace. Both my drivers took the lead before the longer back straight. Almost an easy but still fun to watch race.

Nice Seasonals overall, as my main 2 drivers finally got their happy/sad meters green and blue. :dopey: Finally!

400: Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo (my car in real live)
500: Callaway C12

and 650: ZR1 RM
-> look at the tiny gap... lol
can anyone beat this?

Just won the 500 PP race by 0.006 seconds. Wife took the camera, though :(

ZR1 RM on 650 pp and level 32 Bob gave easy win at the 'Ring.

Tried level 28 Bob in the Samba Bus at Madrid and left him to it; he managed second.

Madrid in a stock Toyota 86 on Sports Softs - Level 40 Bob - Easy

Fuji in a tuned Lancia Stratos with about 53kgs of ballast then slightly detuned to 500pp on Comfort Softs - Level 38 Bob - Very Easy. Possibly explained by the 331BHP its kicking out :D

Nurburgring in Chap 2J with 79kgs of ballast then detuned very slightly to 650pp on Racing Hards - Level 38 Bob (Neither the Ford GT or the Audi R8 were in the race) - Very easy

My 2J has got the High RPM turbo it and I was easily able to get it to 650pp with only 79kg of ballast & 93.7% power. It's only 678pp even with 100% power and no ballast

EDIT - High RPM Turbo & 200kgs of ballast takes mine to 646pp.

Yea, that's true you can still get the 2J to 650pp even when it has the high rpm turbo fitted. I just didn't bother because I hate when a car has been detuned too much and you end up with a flat power curve. The way I did it was to rest to default turbo, then add any necessary ballast(not that much) to get down to 650 pp. That way you don't need to reduce the power at all. It's just the way I like it, your way would work too, no doubt.:)

400PP - Nissan 240SX (S14) - Easy win with some nice drifting! No coaching needed.
500PP - First try - Aston Martin V8 Vantage (1970kg ) - lost by -0.083 sec! Pushed all the way.
500PP - Second try - Lotus Esprit V8 SE (already set up for the 'Ring - 476PP) - Very easy win with no coaching.
650PP - BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race car - the GT40 had just entered the main straight as Bob crossed the line - no coaching needed.

Lvl 40 Bob - 'B.Speck'

I did it a few more times

400PP: Volkswagen New Beetle RSI
500PP: Lotus Carlton
650PP: Panoz Esperante

For the 650PP I put Bob in a Bugatti and watched him roll. He spent much of the race with only 2 tires on the pavement. It probably helped that the McLaren F1 GTR was not in my lineup for that race. The times for races against the F1 GTR are faster than Bob was in the Bugatti. But Hey, It was a fun run.

My Lvl 37 Bob is earning me some cash on the 500pp one using a tuned Plymouth Prowler...

Grinding in style :)

Give the Opera Performance S2000 a go, it's a perfect car for Fuji and Bobby loves it, it's one of the only cars I've actually seen him push to it's limits(well at least more than Bobs usually do.)

Are there actually cars, that don´t win? I tried some cars, tuned them good to max 500PP (for the FUJI Race) and let Bob do the work. So far all of them win without coaching. Except one:

The Premium Ford Mustang V8.... came in third though.

Any other cars, that will definitely not win? Even with coaching? I think I can make Bob win with the Mustang, by pressing the SPEED-Button all the time.

Same with the 400PP and 650PP. I know for the 650PP that some cars will not win. Havn´t tried the 400PP excessivley yet.

Any hints?

My Bobs are absolutely terrible with the Supra and 3000GT

Hi, make sure your BOBs are in a good mood. The Arrow is blue, and pointing upwards) They drive much faster then. That is also the problem with times in my post above. The times below 10 minutes were done in blue mood. The times above 10 minutes were done in orange, sometimes green condition.

EDIT: Times added!

seems that you have given the cars a bit of tuning.

i sent a level 20 bob to this race with a bone stock RUF RGT PP499, with his arrow having a problem with being erect, and it blew the field with likes of the TVR Griffith, an Esprit V8 '02 and an NSX-R '02 away, all i did to that car was orange paint and oil change.

I've won no 3 and 4 with the BWW 120 d...2 is tough, so i'll try the Mini !!! Just taken some good advice...the Mini Cooper S '11 clinched it...
