By the way I will be recording all the races in Group 3, so this way if something happens we have record of it. This way we will see the finishing positions as well. Also I have found a new camcorder that shoots x10 video quality.

OK I've made the final update to the first post.
Here's what's new.
- I removed myself from the first tournament. Sadly, something came up at the last minute and I will not be available for the time periods of the tournament. I thought about making a late night group schedule so I could make it but found it unfair to some in certain time zones.
- Group 3 has been deleted and the drivers have been put into Groups 1 and 2 according to the order of signups. This was done because I believe 1 or more drivers will not be able to make it, so having 6 drivers in Group 1 and 7 in group 2 will ensure each round of the tournament will include a healthy number of GTP participants even if a couple can't make it.
- You can still sign up but you will be put into a current group as no more groups will be added and the schedule is set in stone, so start preparing to make time for this now.

My GT clock shows MDT time, which is two hours behind EST and one hour ahead of PST.
Once you turn on the game and it connects to the internet our minute and seconds are identical, but the hour hand may be off.
Group 2 starts at 8:45 est, so that would be 5:45 where you are on the west coast.
Just look at a clock arond your house to figure out the hour, but use the minute and second hand of the GT5P clock

Quick question about rule #3. "If the host quits the race then that race is cancelled. Wait for the next one".
Does that mean try the event again or move on to the next event?

It's too much of a risk to try and run the race again within the 15 minute period between events

Hey Earth, why not require everyone be in the chat room for the races? This way you have a very small chance of missing a race, and if the host quits..Which will happen, then we can get back into synce all together.

Where do I write the instructions to tell everyone to use the chat room? New ideas like this come up but most have already read the rules and moved on. Maybe in the thread title?
Your welcome, competitions like this are made to keep us intersted in GT5P online, if it weren't for these tournaments my GT5P may start collecting dust

Just say, as a precautionary..Because we ALL KNOW A SERVER DISCONNECT will happen so, as a precautionary be inside the chat for the entire tournament. If you have a deviate from the race schedule then use the chat to snyc up for the next race.

I never thought that I would be taken out not 1 but 2 times by my fellow forum members. Well maybe the rush for the tournament blocked the true spirit of this fine gentleman's. Looking forward to the next events is so much fun!!! I'll upload my videos as soon as I can and post them.
