Number of Wheel users vs Controller users Poll

Always used controller when playing and does it with stick and triggers. Would like to have a wheel but as the ps4 is hooked up to the living room TV (LG 55" oled uhd) i can't say it would be any good at the moment anyway. For now I'm only trying to get myself thru the campaign mode and got just stage 7 and 8 missions and endurance races left, always going for gold but haven't got a clue if I'm fast or not

Just took delivery of ChromusMax this fine Sunday morning.....

Tested G25 and I am impressed

Worked first time. So back with a wheel and testing old times with controller and wheel times

Not underestimating how impressed so far I am.

Had to create a temporary seat arrangement now I am back in business.. G25 feels so nice again and my hand is not aching from pressure races

I am 100% sure I am faster now and beating times that were controller based ( to be expected ).

Must also say again how impressed I am with the Chronus and G25 mix. Seems like no lag to me at this point and still nailing the mount panarama corners.

Easy transission so far ( as a heavy gamer in general with FPS etc..... )

Just got my first ever win on first sport mode race using wheel adapter & G25.... Oh so much faster than the controller ( for me at least ) With TCS 2 / manual. Got fastest lap at one point in race as well.

Judging by the number of aliens I see in the daily races, I'd say there's a lot of wheel users.

Having a wheel will not make you an alien. Check my race stats. Just an average old guy who enjoys the game and a wheel. People with skills and a wheel are a different matter, and people with skills can post extremely fast times with a pad also.

Not that I don't have enough room Piro, but I just can't bring myself to putting my wheel on the ironing board. Stability is my biggest concern. Tried mounting it to a dinner tray, and every time the race got intense I found myself pushing the pedals away from me, and pulling the wheel into my lap . So picture this, as my beautiful wife walks through the living room and sees all this chaos occurring as I'm having the time of my life lol. She says, while laughing uncontrollably, "there's GOT to be a better way to do this!"
Built my own rig *** 2x4's for a rectangular base, Camaro seat from the junk yard, some aluminum tubing and a short wooden shelf board.

If you have the funds I think the G29 would be your best bet. I had a G27 until PS4 -- it was a sturdy wheel and pedals with great force feedback then and I can't imagine the G29 would be any less.

Got my Drivehub delivered last weekend, and been using my old & trusty DFGT since. Before that I was using motion control, which immersed you into the game a little, but really a wheel is the way to go. And I'm now beating my old Campaign times with the wheel.
