Nice pics. I can' remeber if that car had 500Bhp or 600Bhp, but it was very fast at the Ring in the anual 24h race there.

Amazing find Zero!! the detail is amazing......and that looks like a new racing livery for the Skyline.....I don't know how PD pumps the power out of the PS2 but it certainly beats some other quality graphica on other systems!

Oh and by the way.......can I ask how you attach images on this new GTP6.....I must be blind! but I can't see where it is when your in the 'post reply' screen....If ya could tell me where it is it would be gr8.

The 24h race is mentioned in the link at the bottom of his post, it's not referring to a 24h race in GT4 but the driver of this car used it in GT4 to practice.

The pics look amazing! but...the resolution looks too good. I suggest they are specially rendered by PD. I don't think my PS2 could pull it off...maybe a PS3.

As for adding pics there is a little icon that looks like a mountain with a sun or something!

They were probably rendered in the photo mode thing, you know how KY said you can take a phot during a replay, it probably gets rendered at a higher level than what the mid race resolution is.

Looks like the are improving the graphics all the time. I'm sure there wasn't that much detail at E3. Although It's not so easy to tell... The colours look better. It looks more real in general.

Real enough to make me wonder if it was GT4 at all... I thought you were posting some fantastic new PC game at first.

If we get this at the time of the 24 Hours of Nurburgring... *waits for Le Mans to finish*

EDIT: It's nice to see the sparks are still in. Even on the Ring!

No, those pics are from the the ps2. Pretty amazing especially when looking at the ps2's specs.

I guess PD is just too darn good.

The new photo mode really does appeal to me! I can see myself making tiny adjustments to the cameras for hours, just to get that "perfect" shot. Although I think you can only take pics of stationary cars, not jumping through the air like the above pics.

I'd stick my neck out, and say that those pics aren't running on a PS2 but instead on Polyphony's development boxes, they will have the option of what resolution to render to.

At moments like these i hate the PS2 and it's low resolution.After inspecting those shots i conclude that those screenshots aren't from the PS2.The PS2 has no AA and on those screens the edges of the cars are smooth,wich is impossible without AA.And all in all the screens look rendered.

Wow!!! That simply looks astonishing! I think I'm going to glue GT4 into my ps2!! I especially love the helicopter shot. Those folks at PD are truly amazing!!

EDIT: For the record, I couldn't care less if those are rendered pics. For one, nobody here really knows wheter they are or aren't so it is just speculation. Secondly, even if they are, I will still bet that GT4 running in my ps2 this November will look better than any other racing game on any platform......period!
