Ahh, the last place... . Well I'm completely positive that a better time can be achieved after observing AI driving lines more carefully; since side by side driving is almost impossible (as they push you right onto the grass without hesitation ) I had to wait for a perfect chance to perform some overtaking maneuvers and that probably took away any possible chances of taking top-three places.

Either way I'm very satisfied with this race due to my consistent driving and non-existent problems with acceleration dosage; I'm used to this from the very early days of playing GT4.

Very fun, fast and interesting challenge, thank you all for participating and Bopop4 for maintaining this challenge.

Yeah the AI are a pain, on both my submitted runs I over took the two battling 1st & 2nd place silver arrows (Sauber C9 & CLK-GTR) at Schwedenkruez on the first lap, and never looked back.

PS my times are close, but not due to consistency, I was running about 5 seconds quicker on my second run but, went wide at Brunnchen & then Pflanzgarten I on the second lap, so I only just beat my previous time.

I loved this challenge. My R8 could have gone another lap on the R2's and they actually hit their peak through the technical section, T6-T10 of lap 2. There's really not much to report on... I sideswiped the Ford GT in both races, I don't know why they let him race anyway and passed the rest of the field cleanly by Kottenborn. Just one off track incident per race, a wall check in the technical section and a major screw up at Flugplatz... one that would have ended a real world race and probably life. I was flying in that 11'28 race and totally missed my mark. I'm confident that someone could shave 10-15 or more seconds off, I consistently over braked too late and my exits suffered... no problem with wheelspin though.

I chose the Audi for a couple reasons.
1. Home field advantage
2. Less power=Less tire wear=Faster 2nd Lap
3. To see if it could win... I've always thought it was the best all-around racecar.
4. I can't tune the group c's whatsoever.
