Rumor- Nurburgring Speed Limits to be Lifted for Manufacturers
A senior auto industry source who we trust has told us that Capricorn Nürburgring GmbH, the company that currently owns and operates the famed track, appears to be ready to get rid of the speed limits it has imposed on auto manufacturer testing.
..........
Our source claims that an official statement backtracking from the earlier position is in the works. But would the elimination of speed limits also mean that lap record attempts could return? The most obvious beneficiary of a possible resumption of lap record attempts would be Koenigsegg, which wants to take a shot at the 918's title with the One:1, and was planning to do so when the ban was implemented.

We will update you as soon as the Nürburgring ownership makes an official statement on the matter.

The miscommunication surrounding this is hideous. Nobody is barred from making a lap record attempt. The speed limits just make it nigh-on impossible for many of the fastest cars.

Sierra is pointless? Or the one from Forza 3 which wasn't in 4?? :D Always great never practical irl XD

Circuit de GTPlanet is still a thing I'm gonna toy around with on the side as a joke. How many turns is too many? 300? How long should the main straight be?

You'd be better off making a 5-track champ! That way you could appease everybody without having too many ideas in 1 track that would polarise people :D
