The Outlaw Motorsports Garage tunes
Hommell BerlInetta R/S Coupe '99, "La Cauchemar Nordschliefe Edition"
Originally tuned for the GTP Hot Version Touge Shootout, the Nordschliefe Edition gets a small boost in power and slight tweaking of the transmission to meet the demands of the 450PP class at the ring. Is a fun easy drive around the ring and proves itself to be surprisingly quick despite it's lack of top end speed.

I have the Hommell on share currently if anyone wants to give it a spin.👍👍
Just remember the brakes are set up for no ABS driving:crazy: if you plan to use ABS you'll probably want to adjust the Brake balance a bit.

Tested XDesperado67's car, 7:57.127, good car :)

Good laptime Laurent! but i think your 2 last lap are ''BEATEN'' instead of NEW. :)

Well the 2.10 update has thrown a monkey wrench into the gears here hasn't it?...lol. Many of the PP levels posted in the tunes here already are no longer valid. What shall we do?

I'll not do anything at all. I give up. Going to buy a new longboard, spend less time on this game and more time at the beach!!
:) PD is a JOKE:tdown::grumpy::grumpy:

My Hommell I just posted is strangely unaffected by the latest update...still sitting right at 450PP.

Just from the numbers I've seen, it seems they've actually headed in the right direction although only testing will prove that. On one hand it completely negates any lap times posted so far, but I think the tunes themselves should stand up, but will need to have parts or upgrades added or taken away to get to the target PP. Although in some cases the gains in power are huge so there might be some adjusting necessary.

I feel for ya man. I've come close many times to opening up a garage and posting some tunes and this is the reason why I never did it. I don't have time to go back and adjust everything every time there is an update. Can't imagine how you feel. It's a terrific body of work you've put together.

Because PD are trying to balance the PP levels, not make the current group leaders even faster.

07:14.845 -MAZDA RX-7 SPIRIT R TYPE A (FD) '02- 500PP/SM (Praiano) NEW.
This one, the faster 500PP till now, goes to 494PP , this means that to go back to 500PP ,it will gain 20HP from 357hp to 377hp.

The NSX that i tuned today stay 500PP, it was exactly the same path with the RX7 premium.

The evora 500PP stay also 500PP

Crazy thing is the : 07:19.728 -NISSAN FAIRLADY Z (Z34) '08 - 500PP/SM (Praiano) NEW.
This one from 500PP goes down to 469PP this mean that for 500PP it will pass from 371HP to now 454HP ???? what did they do to this game. This kind of cars now will be dominant??? and not a few... :ouch:

It's crazy ,really crazy. This is more than a big mess, it's all 🤬 👎

I never thought of the Hommell as being a really dominant car at 450PP before these changes. Now the Crossfire I had that was probably at the lower edge of being competitive at 500PP could be a very competitive 450PP car as it's PP has been reduced so drastically. In fact I doubt I can even get a maxed out Crossfire back to 500PP.

I checked my Fairlady and it gain nearly 90HP. Be interesting to see if that 90HP takes it below the sort of 7:15 benchmark time and by how much.

I also discovered that my former 174 hp 400PP RX7, now has 280HP, still at 400PP. Wow!!

And with that I seriously doubt that 400PP FFs that already struggled to keep things competitive could even hope to stay in the same time zone.:(

My guess is PD is abandoning trying to equate FF's in terms of PP. That actually makes sense to me. Equating the others is much easier.

That's a huge difference Praiano.

Here's what I'm getting from all of this :

Slashed PP, more HP?
Is this what is happening here? Haven't played GT5 since before maintenance so I'm not too sure.

That's about it. Many cars have had their PP lowered dramatically, allowing them more HP and/or lower weight to get to the same PP level as before. As you can see from Praiano's example above, it's already made a 5 second difference for one car on the Ring.

The PP system was supposed to help create a means to help make competitive races regardless of drivetrains for the cars. It wasn't about what was easy to implement but about competitive balance. From what I've seen and read so far it seems the whole idea of competitive balance has been tossed out the window in favor of apparently arbitrary adjustments to various cars.
The Ginnetta G4 for example has always been ridiculously overrated by the PP system and yet this update leaves it unchanged while cars like the FR-S that were already decently balanced against the competition got huge boosts in performance.

Yes there will always be cars that are nearly impossible to get to conform to a given PP spec. Either being too good or failing to be competitive, but the idea should be for the system to put as many cars as possible into the competitive zone and this update so far seems to fail miserably at that.

I need a tune for a LEGNUM VR-4 type V

I got the car and i cannt believe noone has a tune for it can someone hat knows about tunning help?

I am racing in 505pp race lately online, and i had a decent tune for an NSX and CSl, i had some good laptimes on the ring, and today i was retuning after the update, the HSC was dominating before the update, now its a it feel like a 2CV. compared to the Supra RZ...

i can get like 4 second on it just on the long straight, most cars were hitting 290-300kmh the supra now hit 340kmh.... 650hp for 505pp 👍 :grumpy:

The king is dead!...long live the King!

So decided to take my Crossfire to the ring...with the latest update the car could no longer even come close to the 500PP I originally had it at. So set it up on a set of SH tires at 450PP.
The car had been a quickie 10minute tune for SS tires and other than adjusting transmission and parts selection/power limiter to make 450PP (had to add some power) I didn't change the tune.
Ran an 8:05.xxx and would have beaten Mike's 7:57 in my Hommell if not for a major off (didn't invalidate the lap) at the turn onto the straight and another minor off in the final turn.

Now Mike is immensely faster than me on the ring being a good 20+ seconds faster without trying so there is no way I should come that close to his time with a car in the same PP Class. Especially in a car that's been barely tuned on a different grade of tires. I doubt when things get sorted out that the Crossfire will be the fastest 450PP car but think this proves that PD has totally messed up the PP with this latest update.

Edit: Just did a second much cleaner lap in the Crossfire at 7:58.431...first time I've ever gotten a 450PP car on SH around under 8 minutes and remember this is still the rough tune made for SS on trial mountain.:drool:

Yeah, its not even fun to drive, one straight line and the race is over.

just notice your psn is osprey hehe, seen you a lot in those races, your Silverado looked quick in straight line today. :)

Yeah Doug the difference is huge with some cars, the IS-F is also a lot different now. before update i was hitting 282kmh on the ring, now 314kmh (505pp..)
