That's what I'm talking about. I digs it. If you don't encounter snow, why buy any other type of car? Chevy/Isuzu should make a p'up again. Is this odd? Yes. Do I absolutely love it? Also, yes. It's a Ford Maverick by the way.

It doesn't even look like a modification.
'88-98 GM fullsize with a '67-8 Chevy grille and bumper. I...like it? If someone proposed modifying the front end of an OBS to accept the early fascia, I'd laugh right in their face, but this is very well executed. Now I want to see it with the quad headlamps of the GMC version.
Found another one, the best picture yet. I'd prefer a chrome grille and bumper, but that's me.Criminy. I wouldn't have thought this an odd modification given that the fenders and hood are the same, but it is crazy difficult to find a G-body Malibu coupe with the facelift front end.
Here's one with a pre-facelift for comparison.

And a junker part-way through the swap.

It's OK you will get that with everything @TexRex posts in here, I have never seen someone with such an astute eye for the thoroughly mundane and barely modified. As someone who has very limited knowledge of the original car, I honestly thought that hood was a stock item.
I'd rock that, no joke.I'm not sure what to make of the L88-style hood on this Cutlass.
My immediate reaction was to cringe, but now it's...not horrible? It's got a somewhat built Pontiac 400 under there, per the original listing, so it's not just flash without the dash. Could do without the 400 badges on either side of it.
So would I. I'm fond of the cars and that 400 has heaps of potential even if it hasn't been built to meet it. I'd probably change the wheels and get rid of those badges on the cowl scoop.I'd rock that, no joke.

The engine isn't so odd in it either. Those cars were available with a Pontiac 301, which is in the same expansive engine family (Pontiac V8s share a lot with one another, the biggest differences being bore and stroke, and a couple, including the 301, got a shorter deck height) as the 400.

No you're not but I thought you'd have one by now considering how much you talk about them....
Am I supposed to?
I go on trips where my interest in something flares up. I also exercise self-control and don't end up impulsively purchasing the object of my interest. No you're not but I thought you'd have one by now considering how much you talk about them.
