No one has offered to to run it. Unless someone does prior to launch I guess I am obligated to. I would really prefer someone else do it because I am extremely busy this semester.

If it comes down to it I will send out invites during launch week.

If you don't want to do it, I would be happy to. I guess just let me know (anyone). I don't want to step on any toes, but I have time at night, especially all fall/winter to make sure the club is at least kept up to date. I won't be able to race all the time, but I am willing to donate, help, tune, livery or whatever.

Sounds good to me. She's all yours.

what made me laugh was that in the description it says it was targeting towards the "youthful, forwarding thinking" buyers. YEAH RIGHT!

I love corvettes but the inside is cheap. Outside and engine makes this car worth buying but the whole inside needs a big improvement. Seats amd wheel for sure. Materials need to be of a better quality. I am sure Z06 lovers will appreciate this. I know i will. :)

2012 Z06 (which in my opinion takes the cake).

Everything looks fake and plasticy though. Even the "leather" seats look cheap. And...the dashboard....especially the shades of gray one looks like it's all plastic. And that's the problem a lot of people have with American cars. Even the Top Gear hosts have admitted that America makes some great cars, but they just wish the interiors weren't covered in plastic. I mean, Jaguar has everything in leather and wood, Aston Martin adds Carbon Fiber...and the Corvette...it's all plastic on the inside...makes it feel cheap and fake. It's like a supermodel, gorgeous on the outside but sad and pathetic on the inside.

To be fair the inside does look cheap and dated, Last one i'd say looks more premium but still very plasticy for that standard of car.

I wont argue the interiors of the Aston; they are my favorite manufacturer. However, when you compare weights and take into account the fact that the interior of American muscle cars have always been about being simple and lightweight, things begin to make since. The numbers speak for themselves. A stock production C6 Z06 has a curb weight of 3132 lbs - 1421 kg. Compare that to the Astons and Jaguars.... All that useless trim seems a lot more useless all of a sudden.

The last two generations of Corvettes have been seriously lacking on the interior. Both design and quality are very sub-par. And the seats are worthless.

Last two? Funny, I was thinking more along the lines of every.

And I'm a borderline 'Vette fanboy, but the interior is cheap and always has been relatively cheap-looking, but even moreso these days, and a car doesn't have to be in the luxury class to have a better-looking or just a better interior.

I beg to differ. They used to be quite nice, I think.

I think he has a point and definitly not on crack maybe you are on extasy and every plastic looks beautifull.

Yes some of the most Vettes have not had anything special for an interior but I don't think its terrible either for a sports car that is more focused on performance than luxury.

With that being said I think this new interior is much much nicer.

With the Ford GTs price difference I think better materials are a given.

But the 2012 Vette looks pretty nice on the inside. It's not $100, 000 Porsche quality, but at the same time it's not $100, 000. I'm not saying it couldn't do with some improvements, but for the price/performance it's not exactly terrible. Really though, until you at least sit in the car there's not much to be said about interior quality.

That said....
