I'm from Newark, NJ area. Born and raised. Live now 2 towns over or about a 5min drive. I still go to Newark but certain areas only. Usually only go into Newark with my Audi on weekends during the day time to catch a footy match or two. I won't step foot there at night especially busy nights with my car even though it's not as bad as it used to be or what most think it is (especially after that Jacked show). I'm just tired of paying $700+ each time some ghetto fab rookie hood rat tries to steal my car... cuz the pros know Audi got smart with the B6 and on and you can't easily pop the door lock with a big flat head screwdriver like you could on the B5 A4s...

t.o.
Hey man it's rough out here on these internets.

I'm one town over, only problem that town is worse than Newark. Fortunately I live in a gated community and it's like two different worlds. I hang in the local watering holes so I know the street and the scene but it's ridiculous out here. Countless good honest people get over-shadowed by knuckleheads and I mean the most stupid knuckleheads. Fortunately I haven't come outside to find my ride gone yet from hanging out but people know me so if they see something fishy they just wont let it go down. When I park at home I sleep pretty well since you just can't walk on the grounds. You have to be called in ahead of time.
I'm from Edison NJ I live in sayerville now.

Yeah, I would like this one:

I used to have one, but with T-Tops.

My uncle has one like that, only green.

His has '92 tags and a broken wheel column and driver window from when it was stolen in '96(no clue why he hasn't fixed it). Last time it was driven as far as I know was '07 when we moved it because I was having my grad party there. I think it still has under 20K on the odometer.

Back on topic, when is T10 going to announce something!!!!!!

Season Pass confirmed for Forza 4

Your ticket to six game add-on packs at a 30 per cent saving.

Forza Motorsport 4's DLC offering is to be supported by Microsoft's Season Pass (already seen in Gears of War 3), offering six downloadable add-on packs as they are released through the next year.

Starting October 14, players can purchase the Season Pass on Xbox LIVE Marketplace or at participating retailers for 2,400 MS Points. This price represents a 30 pre cent overall saving compared to purchasing the content separately.

The six add-on packs - released from November 2011 to April 2012 - will deliver 60 cars to supplement the Forza experience.

Purchase Season Pass and you'll also receive the American Muscle car pack as an additional bonus.

This season pass crap is starting to make me furious. Especially since you have to buy the pass to get those "additional bonus cars for free". Just unbelievable. 👎:ouch: I love Forza and T10 but I will NOT support this season pass crap.

Elizabeth? JC? Doesn't matter... Small world!
I frequently visit a bar in the down neck area called Happy Hour for footy matches and one of the owners, my buddy's dad, got murdered on a Friday night few month back. Was such a shame since the area isn't that bad...it's just that when something like that happens everyone instantly thinks murders happen on the norm over there. Thanks to these police layoffs that happened (my cousin was one of 400+) the thugs and trash started an uprising. 1st official day of Newark being short 400+ cops saw crime soar 70% from one day to the next.

Going back I see jdmking is a local NJ head too! again, SMALL WORLD!?!!
FYI, starting tomorrow you guys might be seeing A LOT of VWs and Audis head down south towards Ocean City, MD for H2Ointernational and I will be there :D

season pass?! UGHHHHH!!!

I have not preordered, nor do I think I want the LCE. I just want my copy of Forza4 and I don't want to be limited to cars. I don't want to feel forced into buying a certain version of a game just to get access to cars that should be in the game already!!!!

The sad thing is that all these incentive cars for preorder, LCE, and whatever pass this is will most likely be sold later on for MS points. Maybe I'll play the game as is and whenever a FUC is launched I'll rebuy

I have nothing against DLC, it provides longevity to a game. But DLC this early just stinks of greed. They are already modelled, they are already in game, what the 🤬 Turn10?

I am all for the optional season pass. I like that you can get a nice discount on the cars if you go this route. If one doesn't like the season pass option, they can buy the DLC like they normally would, pick and choose their content. Seems like a win win to me.

It really doesn't work that way though. They operate on separate budgets for the game and DLC.

There is way too much logic in your post.

I don't appreciate it.

Lol.

What? Care to elaborate?

Sure.

Microsoft gives Forza 4 Retail game a budget of say $10,000,000 to produce. Turn 10 spends that $10,000,000 producing the game, and is able to make 500 cars for the game. $60.00 to the consumer to buy the budgeted game.

Microsoft gives Forza 4 DLC budget of say $500,000 to produce extra content and cars to be sold over the next year on Xbox Live Marketplace, as well as free DLC incentives (advertising budget). Turn 10 spends that $500,000 to make those cars for the game.

It doesn't matter if they made the cars 300 days ago, 1 day ago, or 50 days from now. That is a different operating expense for getting more content to the consumer at a price that is above and beyond what they give us in the retail game.

I hope they lobby a few manufacturers to throw extra cars our way as free advertising like they did with Nissan and Hyundai respectively.

But you only get those bonus cars for buying the season pass. Just pure bs.

They are also day one DLC anyway, so you could skip the season pass altogether and buy DLC individually. As I'm getting the Muscle Cars as an LCE pre-order, I'll skip the season pass myself and just buy them when they come out.

Like it or not, DLC is part of the gaming world now. There is good and bad to it, but one thing everyone has a choice to purchase it or not.

Some game companies do a much better job of presenting the illusion of actually adding more content, as if the game was finished, released, and then they kept working to "add" to it. Even though it was probably made at the same time, or close to at least. It was already planned. Not like they just thought...hmm...lets add more. No, no, its part of the project to extend product life, and of course get more income.

Now some DLC I will buy, some I will not. Its nice that I have that choice.
For instance Shift2 with the Legends Pack. New cars, new tracks, and new career events. It was great and worth the 10 bucks. I would have spent 20 for it. There was no hint that the cars/tracks were already in the game code, so it really felt like an expansion pack (anyone remember those?) Dirt3 and the sad excuse for the DLC car packs, I didnt, and wont ever purchase. Not only do you SEE them in the menues, but they dont add much to the game. The new track for D3? Yeah only playable in certain modes. No thanks.

Basically the truth is, DLC can viewed as evil and a way to milk money from us. Its true in a way, but at least we get a choice to get milked. Its like being the little guy in prision and your new cellmate giving you the option of lube and to be gentle.

I love the DLC model. It adds cars and tracks to the game. I feel a bit burned that DLC is available on day1. I just can't stand this exclusive nonsense for preorders, LCEs and season passes. If they are going to do exclusive cars then do custom liveries and tunes of cars available in the game. Do DLC a month at min later.
It seriously pushes me off on not preordering, not getting LCE and not getting season pass.

Oh.... That makes it all fine then!

/sarcasm

🤬 this I'll pick up the at a later date or when an offer comes along.

Yeah just wait until they release another Forza Ultimate Collection with everything in it for $30.00 like they did with F3.
I also dont plan to buy all the packs. Maybe a couple like I did in F3 but I dont need every car in the game. I didnt even get to drive all the cars in F3.

 I don't think I'll wait that long. I got FM3 fairly cheap (about £20 a fortnight after release) Hopefully get that price and the pass for 20 = RRP. Job done 👍

No. Saying a CG car video is, and I quote...

Holy crap, that video and those cars are the ultimate car porn if I have ever saw it. It almost makes me cry.

Is fail, beyond failure.
