Goodwood day 2:

Interesting pictures here. I like to see that:

Tomorrow, Kaz will be driving something "special".... :D

I need to setup my own pit stop blog after yesterday's visit (thanks again to GTPlanet and everyone else involved with the competition).

On topic, I think Kaz will have a lot of fun with that 300 SLS and should be a good blog today.

Red Arrows Display and Vulcan was awesome.

Got pics of all 4 concepts which will go up somewhere and posted on here when I get through my 454 photos lol

In the latest blog I saw a lot of pics of Porsches and bikes. Could care less if bikes ever made it in the game but one can only dream if they would add all the historic Porsche racers one day.

same idea here. Why showing us pictures of those cars praising them if there wasn't any intention to include them in the future. Could be wishfull thinking but the hope never dies ;)

V12 Vantage LM-GTE confirmed? :D
I wouldn't go that far. Unless we see an in-game V12 Vantage GT rendered in GT6 or GT7, we cannot assume anything. Hopefully the new sound recording standards will be/have been applied to this car if it has indeed been modeled.

The car Yamauchi drove is the Young Drivers AMR V12 Vantage GT (LM-GTE).

Please note, this car was mentioned before with Polyphony a few years ago as they were at Fischer Racing, where the Young Drivers cars are stored.

If it's a GTE or GTLM car then it's a V8 Vantage whereas the GT3 Vantage has a V12.

Let's fire up a thread on it..get at least 1000 responses before it dies away. It'll go from the Vantage to the whole ALMS series to Watkins Glen to Mosport....they hype and speculation will be epic.
That particular AM wasn't raced in ALMS.

Blog entries vs questions answered so far = 13 - 0.

:ouch:

I don't know if you realize this or not, but perhaps the blog wasn't created with the sole purpose of answering our questions here on GTP. Maybe they created the blog as a general, friendly way of telling us what is going on with PD both in and out of the dev studio? Just a thought.

With that said, now that all of the major events are done for a while, we'll hear some more news on the game. Patience is a virtue.

its not just for answering our questions but if it was also meant to be used for that, i would like to have seen one question ready to be answered at release day of "pitstop". the pace of answering is very, very slow! the proof is that we do know the answer for the first question but it came from other site, even if "pitstop" released first.

the other posts dont feel finished, festival of speed and 24 nurb, where are the conclusions?
example: "...Tomorrow, Mr. Yamauchi will be driving a special car, so I think I will try photographing this from the famous hill climb course."

i know their not professional journalists/blogers but... where is day or part 3? thats not a good ending

agree

I agree we should be patient, but I understand those that are pulling their hair out waiting for an answer. Obviously the blog is multi-purpose and that's great for Kaz's fans, but there's no doubt that's the avenue chosen to answer our GTP questions. I just hope they don't all drag out like this or we'll be waiting a year to get answers to a handful of questions.

I would understand the frustration if Kaz just was wasting time not doing anything. But he has been pretty stinkin' busy the past couple weeks. We'll start getting answers soon enough. 👍
