The person who owns the GT fansite in semi frequent contact with Kaz who stated in no uncertain terms that one of the purposes of the blog (and the very first thing done with it, in fact) was to answer the fan questions PD promised to answer? Or the guy who keeps insisting that the blog's use for that purpose is merely coincidental because he keeps saying so so it must be true?

I can feel that the actual main purpose of this blog is to record the Kaz's trip (Nurb, Goodwood, Monterey, GT Academy). Not really for anwering fans questions.

That is very true, but to say that the blog was only for answering questions isn't a common sentiment in the first place; so acting as if the opposite was true and no one should assume we'll get answers on it is equally facile.


It also doesn't mean that the people getting increasingly despondent over the lack of the "A" part of the Q&A being done are in the wrong for being angry about the extremely lopsided ratio of answers and other things when everyone was told that was one of the reasons the blog was set up was to answer the questions.

Or Aussie_HSV of GTP, who keeps heavily implying that was never a true purpose for the blog due to his own over inflated sense of self worth leading him to believe people should listen to him just because he keeps repeating himself in increasingly pretentious ways rather than any tangible reasoning?

The Blog's intended purpose is almost irrelevant at this point as far as answering our questions is concerned. Kaz has answered 2 questions, 1 on sound extensively and 1 on standards with a "yes". I don't think anyone thought it would take 4+ months to get one full answer and a yes.

They actually mean the same thing. The blog was made to answer questions as well as talk about PD's goings on, unless you're seriously suggesting that the first thing it was used to do on the same day it was started which was even name dropped in the news announcement has no bearing on its purpose. The distinction you keep missing when you respond is that someone sarcastically saying the blog was not made to answer questions, or someone lamenting that very little answers have been given on the blog, or someone complaining about the amount of posts that don't have anything to do with answering questions compared to the ones that do, is not someone saying the blog was made exclusively to answer questions; nor does it really justify the hardline and demonstrably false "the blog is unrelated the answering questions" stance you keep taking even when people point out that they don't expect it to solely be used for answers.

Like it or not, the claim the blog was created to answer GTP questions has been raised by many people here on many occasions for a long time.
I have suggested otherwise only a few times.
So I certainly don't 'keeps repeating himself in increasingly pretentious ways'.

I have never claimed that it hasn't been suggested that some answers may appear on the blog.
I've simply maintained, on the rare occasion I've responded to this topic, that the blog wasn't created for this purpose.

So I'm not defending anything.
Simply voicing my opinion.

No, there were different C and V variants for each type of tyre (like how we have Soft/Medium/Hard tyres, but these were another variant of them). So, you had things like Racing: Soft (V) and Sports: Hard (C).

Don't forget the Super-Soft tyres...
