I read the article and I can't stop wondering why am I not allowed to set up endurance races like that offline in GT6's arcade mode?
I mean, I can choose number of laps in arcade mode, but without the option to have a balanced grid, qualifying, standing starts (or normal rolling starts at least), mechanical damage, fuel/tire wear, and adjust AI difficulty, it seems rather pointless to play long races in arcade mode.

PD's communication is the worst ever. I mean just look at driveclub. This game is at the same exclusive level as GT, and had some problems at its release. The developers who had twitter account responded to most of the complaints! I mean ,what holds PD? They have a more huge fanbase and so the responsability is much higher.

Questions related to Circuit de la Sierra circuit have been answered.

No they haven't, not in the blog this thread is referring to. They released the track without answering the questions asked about it in the Q&A forum. My report is about blog entries vs questions answered from the GT Planet Q&A via the blog.

About the picture that's on the page about the car sounds, is that car going to be in GT6 or GT7 because there is nothing in the Honda dealership that is similar.

Addressed would imply communication, either written or verbal.

How else would you "answer" then? And I wouldn't say they answered any questions. They addressed concerns that we won't get the track but we never received their words on how difficult it is to run on PS3, why it took longer than expected, if it's indeed based on course maker functions or traditionally made by them, etc.

Certainly. Though you can address a question through actions (i.e dealing with it) and yet never actually answer the question(s) raised by the community; previously the camber issue and now this.

That's a Honda S600. The fastback version of the car isn't in GT but the roadster version is.

Agreed, the deal was that GTP would invest our valuable time coming up with appropriate questions and then take our valuable time and peruse, respond and vote on the questions. With 1000's of votes cast and 1000's of responses I daresay we've invested hundreds or thousands of hours into this so far. Kaz was then supposed to go over the questions and respond to them directly. The deal wasn't, invest your valuable time and then over time we're working on some of those things already anyway and they'll get done, this we knew already. The deal was communication directly from and with Kaz and respond to our concerns, presumably for us to gain some insight into the franchise, and to show us he really cared about us fans.

You'd think most CEO's would look at the Kaz Q&A and think, "Wow, these guys really care about this franchise, the most popular questions are well worded, polite and to the point. I should really get on this". Instead, we haven't had a single response directly to the community, but instead a generic blog, usually talking about everything other than what we asked about, and a single question answered in going on 6 months.

I would hesitate to call this a slap in the face although I can see how many would, but an epic fail at this point is probably appropriate.

The questions posed in the pitstop may have already been answered.
We might have to wait until GT7 is near to being released but I don't think ALL of the questions will be implemented in GT7.
Gran Turismo doesn't belong to GTPlanet.

Totally agree with your points, but let's face it when we are busy browsing and jerking around on GTP our time isn't that valuable :D

There is a lots of company who pay in order to have feedback on their products, to know new consumer trends and needs and PD have it for free and don't even care. I think in this case the word valuable can be justify .

"Also, in “Other” parts, you can repaint BMW’s legacy kidney grill to black." Well this is NEW and I like it !!!

I think we'll see a lot of pink kidneys.

"Also, we’ll be soon be updating a report of the Polyphony Digital car modeling team visiting the SEMA show!"

New car confirmed.

There's a GT award every year so yeah, new car confirmed.

That was unexpected!!!! :embarrassed:

I love it :D

It'd be a million times better if it had the lights like the R34

I don't think so. It is "other" parts, so you can just replace standart grill with black.

Looking at it that probably is true. I guess it's that wording kind of made me think it wasn't exclusively black.

I hope that PD will start to use the blog to announce small bits of what is going to be included in the next updates, like Rockstar and over developers user their own.
