A few more pics of the M4 for you guys. Polyphony are here photographing and scanning the lights on it right now, to be modeled when they get back to Japan.

Ah, no wonder why they added this at the end of the article...

* These screenshots are from development and details may be subject to change.

Appreciate it Jordan.

Yeah, and maybe take photos to this year's winner at SEMA, I don't think they will waste their time and money doing the trip back to Japan and then going back to wherever the winner is from and take photos and the other stuff they do...

Just asking here but could someone please take a 360° video of the BMW while its lit up. I'm interested to see the flashpatterns so I can compare it to the ingame version once we get it. Thanks in advance.:gtpflag::bowdown:💡

I'm quiet chocked, Kaz and Jordan are at the same place right now which I believe don't happen often and it seam Kaz can't give us 10min.
I'm sure he might be really busy but what is 10min in 24hours for millions customers and for the ambassador of a forum which keep us busy on GT6?
I'm sure if GTPlanet didn't exist a large number of us would have already stop playing gt6.
As well Sema show isn't finish let's see but it matter of principles.

if jordan won't be able to get a few words with Kaz it'll be another wasted chance and a MAJOR disappointment.

Since they do not have anyone in contact with their users/fanbase the only way to get some real first hand informations is our Jordan. and yes i agree with @Davoxx if it wasn't for GTP i would have stopped playing months ago, and many others same with me.

Somehow PD has a debt with this great community that allowed the online portion of the game to live through the lack of communication and disappointment over missing features for almost one year!

Hope Kaz will be smart enough to set 10 minutes aside for Jordan.

That's a shame but It's not important.

The next update comes late November, we'll see what it will offer us in content

Whilst that all may or may not be true... what's he going to answer? NOTHING, if PD have something to talk about they will talk about it anyway... everyone here will want Jordan to ask the same questions, when are we getting this?, why haven't you done that? and what's Kaz going to say? The same answers as he always does. No doubt people here think that if Jordan gets an interview, we might learn about Spec 2.0 or something... it won't happen like that, if they have an announcement, they will announce.

It would be nice for Kaz to hit Jordan up for a chat, a handshake and a well deserved pat on the back.

PD likes to keep their cards close to their chest. There's little reason to continue to trust their word.

And yet at the same time, who else can we trust really (apart from Jordan and Amar)? We've learned the hard way (multiple times) that we can't trust people from Sony.

Even if he don't say anything, just for showing respect to customers, GTPlanet and Jordan who are still waiting for promises features. Just sayin'.

Until now, PoDi kept their promises. So yes, I trust them more than others studios anyway !

How did you enjoy the matchmaking in GT5? I thought it was a really great game mode, I played it endlessly.
How are you enjoying the monthly track DLC in GT6? It's great that they come out with new tracks every month, it really keeps the game fresh.

[/sarcasm]

I don't care GT5.

For GT6, Kaz said it was a misunderstanding. But it's good, it shows that you have no other arguments....

I think there might be a misunderstanding there. I think I said "almost" every month. I also didn't say "DLC" per se, but that there would be an update almost every month.

On average we're going through one to two updates per month. So I don't think I have broken any promises. I think somewhere along the lines someone may have contorted my words. When you talk about things like Vision Gran Turismo as an example, we have over 30 cars that are going to be involved in that project and that was to be included in a year's time. So when you look at it, my saying that there would be content released almost every month is not too far from the truth.

But the Vision Gran Turismo cars, each car is made with great care at each of the manufacturers, and we can't control when those cars can be completed. So I ask for your understanding.

Lol. Good rebuttal. "I have no response to that point, so I'll pretend that it doesn't matter."

For GT6, Kaz said it was a misunderstanding.

Except that what he said was very, very clear. He just changed his mind by the time he did that AMA. What he said at the Silverstone press release was not misunderstandable.

I agree that PD on the whole tend to keep their promises, although sometimes it's in slightly weird ways. But they do not always keep their promises, and the stuff Kaz says needs to be taken with a grain of salt. He's prone to exaggeration. If anything, I would say more so than other developers who tend to control their press releases very tightly, and don't have this eccentric yet powerful visionary as a spokesman who just says stuff that they then have to deal with.

Yes, GT6 is the last episode. You want to talk about GT2 ? No one cares.

This is a misunderstanding.

And it was easy to check : it's impossible to offer a track or a map per month. No studio has ever done this.

For many, DLC =/= update.

But it's funny that you stay block on this sentence.

I see:

- Red Bull X Challenge
- 3D compatibility
- Circuito de la Sierra
- Quick Match
- GPS Visualizer
- Data Logger
- Senna contents
- VGT
- New cars (TS030, M4, Hudson, etc)
- New tracks (Red Bull Ring)
- New customization

I was just talking about content, not improvements.

It remains:

- Course maker
- B-SPEC
- Community

Brief.

Even if he would give GTP and Jordan 10 minutes of his valuable time, if every answer that we are gonna get contains the words "might, maybe and we are looking into it" again, it's not worthy of all the speculation that will follow and the eternal disappointment when people realize the "might, maybe and we are looking into it" stuff didn't happen once more...

Ah, so because no one has ever done something before, we should not believe anyone who claims that they will do it. Gotcha.

Why is it impossible to offer a track per month, exactly? I expected them to start bringing back some more GT4 tracks to make it work, just as they brought back Trial Mountain, Deep Forest, etc. I mean, there's a whole catalogue of tracks that would probably last them about a year there.

Then there's the course maker. Even if it was not functional enough to give to end users to make tracks, one could assume that it could have been functional enough for PD to make tracks that could then be given to players as stand-alones.

And they seem to be able to manage a couple of new, high quality tracks a year on their own. So those two, plus ten from recycled GT4/GT3 tracks and course maker assets. Doesn't seem that hard to me.

But by all means, tell me more about how impossible it was that they could put out 12 tracks in a year.

I agree. An interview is no use at this point. There's nothing he can tell us that's useful. Either he's announcing stuff, or he's apologising, and he can do either of those better from his own soapbox.

In my personal opinion would still far better than being completely and utterly IGNORED like most gt6 users feel right now...

I can understand Kaz not wanting to talk now if Spec II is coming at the end of the month. Possibly he doesn't want to let the cat out of the bag if there are special editions of GT6 on the way or other promotions or partnerships he can't discuss.

It seems PD has really done its best to keep the Hype Train at the station lately, hopefully their drip feed of info (a la the BMW Pace Car & Subaru VGT) continues up until the update goes live. I think the LA Auto show is coming up soon, that might be the appropriate time for some announcements or an interview with @Jordan.

I find it interesting that the modelling team has come to SEMA, maybe there's a plan to be more proactive in getting prize winning cars into the game in a timely manner. They've shown with Mario Andretti's Hudson that when pressed they can model a car and get it into the game quickly.

He's not talking about GT2. He's talking about GT5. But this attitude that any wrongdoings are immediately null-and-void as soon as the next game comes out sure is an interesting one; so does that mean if PD just quietly swept incomplete GT6 under the rug in six months with a bright shiny GT7 on PS4, there'd be no harm nor foul?

I mean, that's fine if you're comfortable with that sort of misdirection and deceit. But don't tell people it doesn't matter, or that they shouldn't be bothered by it.

You also quote Kaz' comments on VGT, where he again states the intended year length. We're four weeks away, at roughly 1/3 of the intended count. That we have a new blog update about this M4, and find out that PD still have yet to model the rest of it, makes me think it might not even show up by the year mark, nevermind the rest of the VGT cars.
