Looks like somewhere around RB Hangar, Looks cool, could it be the next update fixes some top speed issues and brings us a strip, I sure hope so.

Edit

Uh Oh, could it be TGTT, thats probably not coming back, Dangit.

"some of you may remember from GT4 that we had a Las Vegas Strip drag course, complete with bright neon lights"

So is that what all the references to drag events are in the game, then? Sneaky.

That in-game shot only shows the cars that were SEMA winners and included in GT5, if that's anything to judge with that picture. The Red Devil and the Pozzi Camaro are missing from it.

There is a "Runway", referenced as a special "scripted" scene, in GT6; it mentions all the "particles", i.e. the lights.

EDIT: that might actually be referring to the "ribbon" of tarmac on any course, as distinct from the scenery. Each track has a .rwy file, and "runway" is mentioned in respect of AI and ray casting also.

The runway signage is different to TGTT, so it's not the Dunsfold airport.

Also that looks a lot like a brand new trailer that is tribute to SEMA, the trailer depicts the AEM S2000 in Kart Space.

Uff, PD moves are too easy to see, picking winner what body they already have on game, quick changes and model is ready for game. Sad.
Camaro is good-looking car, but hey there was plenty of different cars..

Last year's was a Chevy II Nova '-', there is also the Mach 40, where are the "easy" moves?

Both of those bodies lies already on GT6.. easy.

How can I start? There's no Chevy II in the game, the Mach 40 looks a lot different from any other Mustang in the game, also does this GoPro Camaro from the Pozzy's one, and I can mention other winners that are unique cars...

I'll refer as commonly on Android world there is so many different roms, totally different looking, home cooked re-branded aosp/aospa/cm under the hood.

All recent winner cars are really close what we already have, small changes needed on mach 1 and it's mach 40 same thing on nova ss.
Body is pretty much same, small cosmetics and you jump on hype train.
PD is saving time and giving leftovers to us, trying to keep us happy even they don't deliver product what they promised.

When I bought GT6 there was no information at this is only made for testing some small improvements and funding GT7.

That's not a small change.

In some cases it really isn't "small cosmetics", there's also the interior to consider. They scan all of it regardless, and they need to record it and all that. While it probably is slightly easier than building a car from scratch, I wouldn't call it "easy" or "leftovers".

You went out of the topic, and, about GT-Rs, tell me a GT-R that had won a SEMA GT Award? That's right... But you're right about this, back to the topic

All of your posts are much the same, just small cosmetic differences and you jumped the shark.

@OdeFinn .He can't see what you mean because fan* and aggressive . You are highlighting weaknesses of his baby lol. I'm totally agree with you and that was my first thought as well.

Except none of these "Weaknesses" are true, they are nothing more then gravely mistaking observations based purely on one glance and not on actual research. If one actually researches these cars, they would actually realize these cars aren't at all the same as the cars that are already in the game.

Now if we can get back on topic instead of rehashing all this.

Yes they aren't the same but similar, this mean they will not have to start from ground zero and can use them as a base which just need to be remodeled.
This might have influenced the choice of the winner.
That is what I think maybe OdeFinn tried to tell. There is no need of being aggressive, it can be discuss in a friendly way.
Maybe his and my point of view annoy you but you have to handle it.

There are no Mustangs on GT that make suitable remodeling points to model a rear engine car that has a body sculpted to look like a mustang. Likewise, the 1969 Chevy Nova on GT isn't even the same year as the Holstrom 1967 Chevy Nova so again not at all a modeling reference point. Even this year's winner, despite its looks based on the Camaro from 1970, is only a car with Camaro body shape draped on a chassis (much like the RTR Hoonicorn Mustang) and doesn't have a remodeling refference from the Pozzi Motorsports Camaro RS that's in the game.

He has made a very flawed point, its like saying all the real life race cars on the game are just remodels of the road cars they are based upon. I could understand if the cars were just different trim packages that differed only maybe on piece or two but those examples I gave are wildly different and are/will be modeled as such.

There is no need of being aggressive, it can be discuss in a friendly way.

You appear to be interpreting it as everyone being "aggressive". we are simply showing the flaws in his argument (most of it, very obvious and that's before you actually do the research). I get that he's disappointed that the winner isn't what he wanted, but its never necessary to make such a terribly informed point like that.

The fact that we prove, with image support, these two cars are different, it makes us fanboys? Ok

The use of the word "fanboy" shows that you have no argument. But it doesn't surprise me from you ;)
