Loads more shots of the new Suzuka:

Plus one of what appears to be PD's crew at the track:

Looks great, hopefully will have time change as well. What are those off track ones all about?!

I'm guessing that Suzuka's getting an update soon with time cycle and updated trackside sponsorship logos. Not too sure about these other off-track areas.

I think those off track pictures were taken in the large run off area inside "Spoon".

In the second picture of the CR-Z you can see the fence and the top of the tire wall on the exit of "Spoon".

I'm glad to see older tracks getting an update too! Looks like the next update(assuming this will be included) is going to be a good one!

Maybe this track's update will include adaptive tesselation features? I can imagine PD doing renovation work on Grand Valley Speedway alread.. it's just my wishful dreaming.

Someone should record a lap of the current Suzuka (preferably the weather version without rain) and when the new Suzuka is coming, have a comparison video.

In the second pic, I see different time than the GT6 standard time. Maybe there's gonna be an updated Suzuka with changing time (there's already weather changing in the game) but i don't want to be hype over a false info coming from a random guy.

Okay, so apparently being a GTP member since early 2011 with over 1,000 posts including plenty in this thread, embedding images hosted directly on gran-turismo.com servers, qualifies as "a false info coming from a random guy". Okay.

I picked just 3 out of all the images for the reason that I didn't want to spoil everything right away. That's also why I didn't tell everything the images show. But since all have been posted now, basically your conclusions were right, the photos show an updated Suzuka with time change.

There's Hitachi logos instead of GT watermark in that picture.

Oh yeah, the lack of a watermark proofs that this is a real photo. Because real life lighting looks just like GT6's HDR render engine. And Suzuka sure looks clinical like a GT track in real life.

Where are these pictures coming from?

gran-turismo.com servers.

At first when i said "random guy" i meant that i don't want to over-hype people and then get disappointed later but then the other pic's confirms there gonna be an update on Suzuki Circuit.

Since @dimassa19 demands an explanation from me, here's a post from me, in this thread, from September.

If I assume his method correctly, it's checking what pictures are uploaded to the server as they appear before posts are released. Then there's nothing new to report since Pebble Beach yet.

For detailed instructions refer to @ProjectWHaT 's post.

Wouldn't 'PIT STOP' blog servers be more precise?

No, the URLs are pitstop.gran-turismo.com. So it's a part of their gran-turismo.com servers.

and Trial Mountain, and Côte d'Azur 👍

I think most tracks, especially those from GT5 and earlier, need to be overhauled if they are supposed to be kept on next gen. If PD go for consistent quality over maximum quantity this time. Or we might end up with standard tracks and standard cars on PS4.

At the same time they don't need to throw out old content as long as it's not outdated. The current Suzuka layout with weather circle could stay in GT6 alongside the new version. When they updated Goodwood Hillclimb, they completely threw out the previous version although it was modelled to latest quality standards.

For me, there are four standard tracks :

- Grand Valley Speedway
- Trial Mountain
- Deep Forest
- Monaco

For other circuits, I find them beautiful, there is little work for the next-gen.

monaco is for sure the worst one, at least with the other three they tried.
