They have to be running at high graphics. There a lot smoother than, no offense, ITR's pictures.

High graphics doesn't have to mean high resolution. He could be running 800 x 600 with everything else on high. Still after an answer btw.

I run this game on 1024x768 resolution with most of the graphical options in the game maxed out (exception is the Shadow Detail wich is set to minimum). I get around 40fps on average. The reason i turned Shadow Detail down is because the shadows in this game are very ugly. This way the game looks a bit better and it somewhat improves the performance.

So yes, i shrunk the pictures. It's easier to see the whole car this way instead of scrolling around to see it, atleast on my resolution.

GTChamp, what GFX card are you using?
I use a GeForce 6800 Ultra 256MB card.

Nice RX7, stock bodywork looks nice (The way mazda intended) and the colours really compliment each other.

That Gallardo is the same colour as Bam Margera's too 👍

My copy has arrived today, I'll install it when I get home in oh, just over half an hour.

^ should be getting my NFS tommorow, shame it'll be on the PS2 and will therefore look like ass. Anyway at least it means the DFP should be easier to use with it, plus i can play it more often as my brother is usually on the comp.

I've had a quick go on it, it's a pretty cool game imo, I'm pleased you don't have to body kit you're car to progress this time around.

I'm pleased to here that too, just hope the've also got rid of all of that wigga speakt too ma homie dawg ese, that really grated on me when playin the unnderground games.

I hate all of the pretention which went into the the fact that it was astreet racing game, therefore if it had X,Y and Z stereotypes it would be deemed a 'sick cool game'

I think im stupid. I started the game today, obviously the manual is feck all help. In career mode ive just beaten blacklist number 14, but i still cant add performance parts. I know that they are unlocked but i cant add them, i can only see a stock option in the shop.

any help would be appreciated.

just one thing: can you put your own numbers on the cars? because i've seen a few pics of cars with numbers on the side. how is that possible?

oh, and does the Black Edition have all the features of the normal game PLUS the new features?

Yes you can put numbers on your cars. Two digits, 0-9. I've done it on my cobalt, #25 ( My highschool basketball jersey number )

@Rovens
Can you maybe make a screenshot of the Performance upgrade screen? Use Fraps/F12/Print Scr. I want to see how it looks cause if the upgrades were unlocked you should be able to buy them.

Anyway, check out my new ride:

gallardo4sy.jpg

It has a top speed of 415 km/h.

I did a search on the official forums, it seems that the problem is happening a lot. There is a simple cure though, just reload your profile and suddenly the upgrades show up.

I'm up to Blacklist #11 I think.

I just win the pink slips and use the rivals cars to win career mode. I might buy a car myself and tune it when I unlock the good cars, but until then, pink slips for the win! :D

GTChamp2003 did you have to even ruin that DB9, those exhausts make the DB9 look bad looking.

hey guys go easy on GTChamp. if he wanted to put modify his gallardo or put those exhausts on his DB9, then we should let him. They are his cars on his game, so he can do whatever he likes with them. :)

TVR&Ferrari_Fan
He is a ricer.
You are to expect that with games like this. Just live with it.

If you enjoy doing that, then that's all that matters.

To be fair i dont think that the body kits in this gaems are too tasteless, i intoend on putting kits on Lambos to abd Astons, combine them with numbers and u have a racing car, im gona try and create a DBR9.

The exhausts on the DB9 come with the bodykit. I'd rather get rid of them aswell but then the car wouldn't look like i want it to look so it's a compromise.
Besides, what's wrong with modifying exotics or any other car for that matter?

On another note,
i have a gallery set up with all my cars so far, if you would like you can check it out by clicking here.
