Thanks, didn't realise that til I found out the hard way. I had read about the password change, but hadnt seen the news tab thing. Oh well, nothing lost other than the 10min of my time resetting the system.
As for fixes, we will probably see Porsche in GT5 before EA fixes anything

Especially since this game is a year old they become irrevelant they don't care and the news probably say nothing but buy NFS the Run

Hi ppl. This is my first post here (I hope it's in the right place, I'm not much of a forum person)

I have a strange problem with Shift 2 on PS3. In the options menus my L2 and R2 buttons don't work (They're supposed to cycle through the tabs) but the strangest part is that if I press the PS button and bring up the XMB and then press it again to return to the game screen, the in-game menu tab cycles as if I've pressed R2. This is driving me nuts. Any ideas?

P.S. I'm using the HDD version bought from the PS Store.

First eve rrace on my PS3. Veyron at a track (can't remember which). Crashed at first turn and flipped. And then the starts revving. And yet will not move as it is 90 degrees parked in the road. Re set does nothing. Then I re start race and end up on pole, 90 degrees across the road facing the left hand wall!!!!

For those having problems with the News crashing your game I found a solution, go to the Autolog settings and turn off all news subscriptions.

Was willing to give the game another chance after being so frustrated with it a month after purchase.. It's currently free on PS+ so I downloaded it, but the input lag seems worse than ever, almost a whole second for me (360gb slim, ds3)..
Froze on the news screen as well.. I'll try that news fix, IF I ever go back on it now..

Have a dig around for controller sensitivity/deadzone settings to reduce the lag issue. When I first got the game it was unbearable, but after messsing with the settings it was OK. Not perfect, but playable (DS3 user, 73% career progression on hard AI). For the news, simples, just avoid that tab.

Well, where do I begin? The PS3 (shich I have) seems to have suffered the most.

The horrible frame rate (not a bug), but mixed with the constant frame skips and freezes...ugh.

Laggy menus, take their sweet time changing options.
Digging in and under the circuit, happens a lot at Mt. Panorama.

Loss of cash at random points.
In my case, touching the outside apex turn one at Suzuka ends in a rollover.
Inconsistent 'blurring' physics.
Inconsistent Force Feedback.
Inconsistent vibration feedback.

This game was a weak and rushed effort. Hopefully Slightly Mad do better with C.A.R.S.

Lucky you. Because of the freezes on ps3 I've basically stop playing. Shame cause i was really good at it, had many great races on line but many of them froze when i lead, many of those freezes were when i had green split times on time trial and it should be record run while WTC-3 And freezes were only a top of ps3 problems, while playing on line my game many times didn't run perfectly but had those video frames issue.

No matter thou, I've still had the Game on my second ps3 👍

I pick it up and play every now and then, but it's so buggy i end up rage quitting.

I notice the cutting in and out of sounds, but the large thing is still the massive amounts of input lag.

I am adamant at mastering the Ebisu touge map...
