If anyone is really serious about seeing where they rate against the fastest drivers around they should try running the IFTC TT's. Although the IFTC didn't have any of the super quick Japanese guys and a few of the notable European/US drivers were either absent or missed some rounds, the general standard of times achieved was of the very highest order.

Get yourself in the top 10 on the rankings of one of these and you have the right to call yourself fast.

Even getting in the top 30 places you in the upper echelons.

Well, I got P1 at HSR Reverse and Daytona Road. Definetely more left to come in Daytona road, I only ran about 7 laps. I got P2 at HSR, but it's a dirty lap. I also got P2 at Eiger reverse and P3 at Eiger. I love this car, it's so fun to drive.

There are some times to chase EERS4YEARS When some other Div 1 guys have a go(which they surely will) I think they'll hammer all my times. I only did on average about 10 laps per combo.

EDIT: I agree Stotty, those final two rounds I did were insane. The competition was incredible. I probably did around 1000 laps on race 9 and 10 and ended up 6th in both. I felt 6th was worth it in the end. But yeah, compare yourself against IFTC combo's and you'll see how fast you are compared to the rest of the world.

Oh and by the way, If there is an IFTC series 2, i'll be entering from the start. I wish I entered the last one from the start.

The 111tuned is really hard to go fast, thats why I like it. A roofer once told me "dont be a jack of all trades... be a master of One."

But isn't driving one car like a roofer only being able to hammer in one size of nail? I'm not well up on roof construction in the US, but here in the UK, roofers will use multiple sizes of nails and fixings. unless you are building a traditional roof where very few fixings are used. Did you work for this roofer, or is it just a friend?

Just got P1 at DR in Lotus Elise/tuned by 0.6xx. Lap time was a 1'52.335. That's 0.8 faster than you EERS4YEARS. Your turn to chase. I love that combo by the way, so fun to drive with the tail slightly sideways every where.

Just got P2 at Daytona Road in the Elise Tuned. My time was 1'52.604, which was .5 faster than you EERS. The slippery Lotus is a joy to drive!

Well still P1 but improved to a 1'52.225. I can see a 51 being possible for me.

Yeah, trust me. In that thing, it's not easy to find. In my lap I was around 0.3-0.4 faster than the previous no.1 through the infield and then pulled out another 0.2 through the bus stop. But yeah, an extra 0.010 is hard for me to find now. I might make this combo EYS 16, that way we can all see how fast the aliens can go.

bad news mad... Im ahead of you at DR with Amuse S2000, lol. I had to do it! My lap is pretty sloppy, but Im 26th and you are 28th (like .030 lead, lol) Tons of time left, we are both 1.3 off leader i think.

to osrg- .5sec is really easy to find if you watch my replay, my lap is really good except the part where you must drive with the car half way in the grass to go fast. If we had to stay on track the lap times would be atleast a full second slower. mad94d even said he gained .2 more than his old time, and he is WAY faster than me through that section, especially his exit speed.

Yeah, my S2000 lap is terrible. I think I spent 30 mins on it, but I set it at like 2am or some ridiculous time.

You're right EERS4YEARS. But I didn't say I gained 0.2 on my old time, I meant I gained 0.2 off the old person who used to be P1, now P3. But yeah, my bus stop run is only just clean. 2 wheels off the track the whole way through.

Im not knocking you for it, believe me, I envy the control you have while half way on the track. Im not sure about your new time, but when I was racing your p1 ghost you were in my mirror until the bus stop several times, then I would throw it into the grass, I made all that time up in turn 1, simply by keeping it in 3rd and not shifting down to 2nd. But obviously that last section is alot more important than turn 1.

I made my S2000 time at 2 am also, lol, kinda groggy.

You did sort of invite the "crap" with your claims.

Best thing for you? Run the registry qualifier, get your GTP tag, then come and run some WRS. The competition is good, and no-one boasts about being fast, or otherwise.
