I ran a few laps today and was able to get into the low 45's. But,....I can only get 6 laps, maybe seven. The tires wear pretty evenly but its like ice on really worn tires. 4 stops for the win?

I ran some tonight. Ran mid 44's. Tire wear is awful.....three hot laps then flounder for another four before pitting .

Thanks for the setups. Although neither one helped me. Stuck in the 46's and i have a really hard time dealing with the draft with this car. The brakes just seem to go away.

I think it will be a frustrating evening for all but one.. ... as long as we can joke around we'll be okay.

I think I'll remove all down force so it feels the same if the tires are worn or fresh.

Should be interesting tonight. I plan on running a few test before the race as i need to figure out a way to be competitive

1. I want to thank everyone for competing in this series. I think it went well this time around. At least we know what cars we never want to race again! But thats what this series is for, to have relaxing, no pressure racing and still give us something to do every week.
2. Tonights race will be held in a public lobby. I as well as others noticed some screen tearing and weird physics. Also you dont recieve any credits after a race. So hopefully this resolves the issues. So, we'll start in my lounge as usual and then move over to a public at 9:30. If your going to be later than that or can't make it to my lounge before 9:30, please post to the thread, and I'll make sure you have a spot.

Thank you for putting this series together. I have fun racing with you guys and It's nice to experiment and have fun without fear of losing points. I learn things from your league to use in the series with points. Of course being able to make a set of tires last longer won't mean much on racing hard tires .

I wish you could have made more of the events DJ. As bad as some of the cars were it was fun and I think we all learned a thing or two. Speaking of the final race of this series, when do you think you'll be releasing the schedule for STC? Next week I'm going to host a pre-season night with short sprints on the tracks we will be doing.

I'm never running mediums again when softs are allowed. I was running high 43's and 44's on softs during practice. I feel i would have been in the race. Oh well, enough testing from me.

Don't feel too bad Red, I too ran a stint using mediums and got lapped for my stubbornness in believing that PD might have the tire wear right on this track.
I did have fun playing space invaders in the cockpit view though

oh well at least I survived another crazy OGR season, thanks for keeping us entertained RoadRash, same time next year??

Wish I could have run these cars too. Hoping to be back for the start of STC. Arm's getting a little better-apparently it's a long term healing injury.

I tried running some BSpec but got bored silly. Got some great custom Toscano tracks from the Touge guys just to drive on casually. Using Kei cars and other low hp cars in cockpit view. Sunday driving!
