No JT, as always, I will be working Sunday. But things are slowing down a bit and I hope to get racing soon.

Besides, I'm not sure my fragile psyche could handle getting lapped 30 times.

Am I allowed to run Thursday? Haven't practiced at all yet because of my series bs qualifying. Ugh...

We miss you buddy. There is 2 more races after this week scheduled, then I think STC starts. So hope to see you soon.

Any times for Dodge@Indy? My absolute best lap was a high 1:29, average is 1:32-1:33. I imagine that puts the rest of you at 1:24s-1:25s.

Mid 29's for me

Man oh Man my pit crew is going to be busy in this race. I better treat them to a steak dinner on wensday.

It still amazes me that Forza can come out with car packs monthly. The cars have the same detail as GT5. Also you can purchase a one time package that gives you all future car and track DLC at no extra charge. Yes GT5 physics are better and the track detail is outstanding, but PD and Sony have really dropped the ball due to the online issues and updates that have not gone well (tire wear). Could you imagine the DP cars pitting every 6 laps in the Daytona 24. Really?!?!?!

That's one pimped out Challenger Forza's got going. Uggh. The Audi Rally Car is way cool though, wonder if they have Pike's Peak or more rally tracks than we do.

Guess I'll have to take out the Green Machine tonight for some Indy Runs. Haven't driven it since last week. At least we get a lifetime supply of slicks after purchase. Looks like the pit crew will be busy again this week.

Speaking of Mopars: my avatar is my old 68 Charger I had for about 7 years. Bright Green Metallic, sold it 3 yrs ago. 318 w/ factory a/c. Sweet car. Daily drove it-bought from a tattoo artist in Daytona Beach just down the street from the Speedway.

We ran a couple test sprints today of 8 laps, the race times were about a second to two seconds slow. So, we were able to get 8 laps of racing with out the car running on rims with soft tires. Here's a tip; when following someone in the draft going into and out of NASCAR turn 1 ease up on the throttle to save your left rear tire. The car pushes too much in the draft and next thing you know....well you know. Should be a fun race with these heavy muscle cars.

BTW, your picture is of a Ford Riley, not the vette DP.

i know that, the Ford > Vette.

The new tire wear doesnt really bother me that much because it changes everything up. Before it was only once a race, or to get fuel in the big HP cars. Now people are babying the car to make the tires last, or going flat out to make up time for extra added stops.

Theres more going on & thats a win.

How was the race? were you there the whole time? I agree that adding some tire strategy is funner, this tire model is better. Got any more pictures?

Why'd you end up selling it?

This car is a real handfull on this track :scared: I've been struggling to get out of the mid 29's on softs. I tried a little different setup this evening and started hitting laps in the high 28's now and then, with a best of 28.7. I seriously doubt if I'll hit 28's in the race. I'm seriously considering using mediums, depending on what kind of times we see in qualifying, I can run low 30's on them, but they don't last all that much longer than softs for me. Decisions, decisions...

Think I've done about 10 practice laps for this one! No sub 1:30's for sure. And yeah, this beast is a handful-sure sounds and looks great though. I'm sticking with the color it came with. Hopefully we'll get to see some of those other wild Mopar colors tonight.
