I bought the new sony headset , If it sucks Im taking it back, ill let you know how it is, I went with the over the ear so I can play later after girlfriend is sleeping!

I'm interested in how well that works for you. I'd like an over the ear headset, just don't want to spend the bucks for it. If you like it, I'll find one on one of the computer forums for cheap, or trade something for it. :)

I use the Sony bluetoof too. It's nice, works good, blah blah.
 
Its definatly surround in the fact you can tell if a tire screech is behind you or in front of you. Im certainly happy with them, you can hear turbos and tires noises I didnt hear before and I had a surround sound system,although it was just an average at best.

Does the 7.1 surround sound actually work well? I just have my doubts that a $100 headset can do good 7.1 surround.

So is this a single ear Bluetooth type of ear piece or a traditional set of headphones with an integrated mic.?

Traditional set of over the ear headphones with intergrated mic. There called Sony ps3 wireless stereo headset.

Does the volume for voice adjust independently from game volume adjustment?
 
hey guys, can't make the race yet again. Sucks but have fun without me!

Oh quick question: Do i need to purchase the DLC to race on the new x track?
 
the latest update 2.04 claims to address online racing. Although they warn of more than 12 with mics is still an issue. Let's hope it helps!
 
So I'm reading the comments about 2.04 and just realized that people actually play this game against the AI. That's remarkable. I have to say if I didn't race with you guys, this game would have been boxed up and traded in a long time ago!!!!!

PD ONLINE RACING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS GAME!!! FIX IT.

Great, forcing us to play the AI to make money to buy and tune the cars we need for online races. Excellent strategy.

I know man, not to rant here. But I wouldn't even play this game if it wasn't for online. And I'm already starting to drift away from it. Everyone needs good PC's!

Link to the official GT site. Does anybody test the updates at PD?! I think at this point their not even trying, their main concern is making more money off of us with DLC to develop GT6. Not sure how much longer the community holds out for PD/GT5. If it wasn't my money it would be comical.

Spent all this money on this setup and can't even race...that sucks!
