Ahh, the infamous Yellowbird, AKA widowmaker, lapping the Green Hell. One of the most impressive driving displays i have ever seen.

Pictures from heat 1 & 2. The first heat was sorta boring for pictures. Heat 2 was much more action packed. Not many comments as i didn't put much effort into it. Hard keeping up with who is who with all those blue cars! Enjoy 👍

HEAT 1

I got lucky and started off with the pole

NCR spinning after hitting the rumble strip exiting the turn.

Scorpion was running well hanging on to the 2nd place position. But he ended up going wide into the grass and sliding in front of the pack.

Nearly 3 wide going under the bridge.

We decided to race a bit smart through the technical section of the course.

Was just enough for me to make the tight pass.

RR, thanks for letting us use this thread while the series was placed on the back burner. Now enough of that. Lets get back to our normally scheduled program!

Not me. Not during a series race anyways. I'll end up getting steam rolled by the guy behind me using ABS lol

If you think you may get a PC within the next year then now is the time to buy a tool pack pCARS. They have almost reached their goal for funding and they will probably close it so everyone will not get smaller profits when the game releases ( release expected Q4 2013) .

The lowest level - junior cost 10 euros ( ~ 12.50$ ) & it lets you play monthly builds
Next is Team memeber 25 euros & lets you play weekly builds
Anything you put down now gets you that much $ off the retail version of the game + profits depending on how much you put in.

Just took the ole 69 out on the Indy Road Course. The new physics are actually nice. The car pushes a lot more now. The main thing i noticed is you can no longer throw the car into a turn. You now must slow the car down, turn in and accelerate out. Much more realistic. If you do throw the car in the turn or fail to slow down enough, the car will run wide. Forcing you to slow down even more to make the turn.

I also decided to run a make believe pass lap so i could warm up the tires. You no longer get that feeling of the car spinning out of control while working the car left and right over and over again. The tires actually warmed up as well. But they appear to go cold fairly quickly.

May need a new tune. Undecided if i feel like messing with it. My current lap times are 1:30.600. Let me know your guys thoughts once you get the chance to run some practice laps. 👍
