Okay, here's the specs for this weeks fill in race:
AhrweilerGate_4.jpg

Car: Corvette C6 ZR1 RM ('09)
Tires: Racing Hard
Track: Spa-Francorchamps
Races: 2 - 15 lap races with grid start. Pit stop NOT required. Race start is 9:30 EST.

Regulations:
Tuning Prohibited
No TCS
No ABS
No Driving Line
No .... oh heck, No Nothing!

Cockpit view requested (I can't force it)

Car details: Buy the car, go to GT Auto and change the oil, then Race Mod the car. That's it. Don't forget to change your car number.

Race details: There will be no qualifying. We'll enter the pits and stay there. Roadrash will start the race. PD will put us on track in the order it thinks will give the worse race. :dunce:When the countdown hits 0 we race! Race two will be reverse grid.

Reminder: You cannot win the race at turn one of the first lap, so DON'T TRY! Remain calm until we're cleanly through turn one, then switch to "bone head mode". :scared:

Race Update:

*I'll be hosting instead of xR0ADRASHx tomorrow night.
*We'll be using penalties set to weak. This will prevent cutting corners at Eau Rouge. Using the weak setting issues a 5 second penalty for cutting corners.

If you haven't had any practice time, or limited practice, I have some suggestions.
1. You'll have to lift off the gas before the bottom of the hill at Eau Rouge. Otherwise your car will understeer to the left, right into the penalty zone.
2. The cockpit view is not ideal for seeing other cars around you, so put your track map scale to 2. You can get to this from the "quick menu" while on track. This way you don't have to keep pushing buttons to look left and right. The track map will show you cars around you and you'll be able to see when you're clear of other cars.
3. Make sure you at least have the first oil change on your car. That will give you extra horsepower.

Normal time? Also the b spec enduro at Laguna is 200 miles which is what you need to brake it in. You can adjust brake balance that's not tuning apparently .

No. Tuning prohibited doesn't allow for weight reduction or any mods that would increase PP. Break in increases HP which increases PP, but that's it.

I'm just thinking about aero adjusted from stock. I should have been more clear. Sorry, I'm lagging tonight.

Edit: And ballast to balance the car.

I probably will not be making it. I'll jump on if my family happens to leave early for the hotel. If i can't make it, have fun!

Just fart and burp a lot.

That doesn't work. My aunt, uncle and cousin leave Jersey at 4AM tomorrow and will be here around noon. Hoping they get tired and leave for the hotel early. My cousin however is staying here. So i am not sure. I can feed him beers and he'll be good for an hour or so.

I'll open the lounge no later than 9pm EST. At 9:30pm EST I'll open a public lobby (this time with the correct count).

Since we're not qualifying the first race will start at 9:30ish, we'll take a couple minutes than start the second race reverse grid.

Join us for the second race if you can't make the first. Let us know if you're gonna jump on.

Setup your lounge to "tuning prohibited" and see if it lets you in with any changes. I don't think it will.

Ok. I don't do much investigating with these sort of things so I ask first. I had no idea there was a TP setting. Thanks. So when TP is selected tires and brake balance are two items that can be changed? And will you be setting the open lobby to tuning prohibited?
