Good stuff DJ. Looks like a lot of good action up front. I spent most of the time being lonely back in 6th-7th place. Battled with able for a few laps, either he left or got disco'd. Definitely not one of my better tracks.

I think able lost connection. He mentioned lag characteristics during the pace lap I believe.

Note to all. If you lag out of race 1, please reconnect and rejoin lobby. Refrain from actively texting on screen until race 1 is over. But again, please rejoin for race 2.

BK mentioned during the race that able lost power at his house.

Stewards Report
Race 1
Drivers BermudaKid and xR0ADRASHx

Stewards understand it is a race upset to have a driver go off in the manner as BermudaKid.

Stewards conclude that BermudaKid did not run off into the sand as a result of a malicious and/or intentional act.

No points deduction.

Stewards would like league members to review best practices and league guidelines.

Stewards would like league members to review the guidelines on being overtaken by faster traffic.

Thank you stewards. This matter is officially closed.

Points and results have been posted in OP.

Good work envy! Feels good to not have to worry about doing everything again!

Thanks to everybody that liked the pictures! That's a labor of love. Just wish I had more free time

It makes running the series a hell of a lot easier when you have people willing to help out with stuff. Thanks again to everyone involved!!

What I like most is the Commodore 64 font points sheets.

Great race guys!

Nice pics red. Man RR. We entered the pits all pretty and ****. Damn we got jacked.

Mike your the man for your thoughtfulness. But go for the win when the game screws up. I'm pretending I fired my pit crew after a horrible showing.

Nice pics from both DJ & red, that might work good seeing as we're running 2 heats, takes some of the pressure off from 1 guy doing both races. All the cars look good. Haven't watched the replays yet, didn't realize how close the second race was.

Mr. President..... For SS Motegi we're entering and exciting the pits on the back stretch? Where the dotted yellow lines are?

Yes that is correct. Entering and exiting the pits on the front stretch is forbidden and drivers doing so will be penalized. :)

Also; this is more of a handling track. It is possible to run two wide in the corners, so long as the driver on the bottom can keep his car from traveling up the track and into the outside driver. Take that into consideration in setting your cars up this week.

Guess what's on tonight ! Suzuka!!

Vette will smash them .Will weber be crashed ?..hopefully

Let's run some practice sprints tommorow anyone?????

Motegi guideline for entering pit lane and exiting. The reasoning for this decision is to help reduce the risk of an accident taking place during the race. I highly recommend practicing pitting and exiting a few times before the race as it can be a little tricky.

Pitting
When you plan on pitting, work on taking the inside line off of turn 2. This will insure you have a clean line into the pits without any cars driving below you and blocking your pit attempt.

There are 2 rows of yellow dotted lines on the back stretch. Enter the bottom apron in between these 2 dotted lines.
superspeedwaytwinringmo.jpg

Stay on the apron and below the solid white line all the way around turns 3 & 4.

Exiting Pit Lane
Exiting the pits is the same as entering but in reverse order. Stay on the apron and below the solid white line around turns 1 & 2.

Enter at the dotted yellow line on the back stretch. Please remember to keep an eye out for traffic as you work your way back into the racing line.

Nice job Red ! I practiced that earlier today and I can see how entering on front stretch would cause accidents.

Thanks Envy, there are multiple reasons for this strategy. But the main reason is to limit potential accidents.

Damn it! I've been practicing the "close your eyes and go technique".

The yellow exit line to move back onto track after a pit is further down on the straight, not off the end of turn 2. So stay low on the apron, stay on the apron on the straight, then look for the yellow line and move out accordingly.

Isn't that what red's last photo shows?

It helps me by paying attention to the red signage on the outside wall. But yeah, the yellow line is nearly half way down the back stretch.
