If anyone gets on tonight give me a shout.

Sorry BK I won't be on until race night.

The first two weeks will be tough for me. I'm not strong at Monza (DTM anyone?) and Motegi oval isn't a good course for me.

For Monza I brake early for the chicanes so please don't say it was a surprise and put me in the wall (again).

I brake early too, sometimes late, sometimes I completely forget to brake at all.

I brake around the 150 mark on the front stretch. A little earlier if I have a big draft.

Just a reminder; we will be using the entire exit lane off pit road to try to avoid any merging issues. You guys might want to work on this at practice

Do we use it even if there is no traffic on the straight?

I'm going to say yes. Just to keep everyone on the same page. I really don't see a disadvantage. Unless you guys think otherwise. I'm open for suggestions.

I'm cool with that. Just seeking clarification.

So the first race is tomorrow at Monza. 15+1 x 2 = (2) 15 lap races with a pace lap each race? Is the grid order for the 2nd race going to be what we did last week (reverse order)?

Oh, I also just made some slight changes to my car. This will be the official entry.
Car number will now be #6
"Lightning Blue" for the body
"Velocity Yellow" for the wheels.

These colors are a little closer to the original Penske Camaro, but more importantly, the names of the colors will strike fear into the hearts of my opponents, make them flustered when I'm near by, and force them to cave under pressure.

Please update the OP. Thank you.

Race #2 will be based on previous race results.

I'll update op when I'm on CPU

Mike, BK and able, please post your livery colors and number when you get a chance.

Skel, op has been updated

Now THAT'S funny!!!!!! It also could just make you a more visible target......

Thank you Roadrash.

This isn't a joke. I'm serious. I need all the help I can get with this line up of drivers. I'm going to try to scheme my way into a win with my paint scheme. Nothing is faster than "lightning & velocity"... nothing.

Until I burn a rubber circle into a rear quarter panel. NASCAR style.

Seriously, this happened to our sales guy after the Dover NASCAR race. Still has the rubber donut on his car. :-)

That reminds me of the time a few friends and myself went to a PGA event. We parked in a gravel lot and while leaving decided to turn it into a drifting show. Early 20's + beer + car + gravel parking lot = trouble.

I received a rubber circle, left rear quarter on my 87 El Camino. I was doing 85, the inflictor was doing 90 and after adding the rubber to my vehicle he promptly reduced speed to 0 when he hit the freeway wall. I shunted him with one hand on the wheel, El Camino style of course, little fishtail to a lift, left arm resting on the window jamb. I hid the car in the hills for 2 weeks after that. 12 years ago or so.

I thought you only did that online.... :-)

I find this hard to believe ...... ?

That I'm running 47 or I'm in trouble?

There were a couple guys running high 45's the last time I was on. I ran 47.04's in my lounge on Saturday with no one else in the room so draft wasn't a factor. I screw up at the chicane every couple laps. Add that to my lap times that are at least a second off the fast times and......I'm in trouble.
