Don't know why anyone pays attention to Zuel, he constantly makes things up and generally posts nonsense, usually related to tuning. He's been going since GT5 and his PP/step tuning nonsense.
I remember that one very well

The best part is that he finally explained step tuning recently, apparently it's just putting parts on in steps, you know one after the other. Step 1, intake. Step 2. exhaust....

If that is step tuning then it turns out we've all been step tuning all along!
Aren`t these "tuning parts"?

/rhetorical question

Haha, just noticed this

I've been writing Kaz and PD for some time now. Once I find a problem I'll either tweet it to Kaz in Japanese or I'll send a letter to Sony marked "Attention Polyphony Digital". I always receive a thank you from Kaz when I send him info of a problem and nice work from Sony.

So on top of the other stuff we're supposed to believe a guy who can barely type a sentence in English that English speaking people can understand is also capable of constructing a message in Japanese that Kaz can understand?

I'm an active Sony Beta tester and at present no GT beta tests are underway or under discussion.

Yeah, you got that right. Under the impression of anonymity, it allows them to create fantasies, indulge themselves so much in them that they become almost real to them and then pretend that they have absolutely no burden of proof for their claims.

Unfortunately for them:And that's why this thread exists in the first place. Fortunately for you, you have absolutely cast iron proof right in your hands - they sent you a letter while you were on the road (wow, the USPS is really living up to its charter. Royal Mail only sends it to the address on the front - they don't chase me down while I'm on the road) and you're surfing the internet on your phone, which means it's a smartphone with a camera (since no smartphones come without one) and taking a picture is as easy as pressing three buttons. Here's my attempt:

I'm amused at the thought of Zuel putting his brand of English into Google Translate and sending whatever nonsense it comes out with to Kaz or Sony.

Those "Thank you" messages would be far from sincere.

I find it amazing that @Zuel has been able to chat with Kaz over Twitter recently, considering he hasn't tweeted since January 13th.

The plot thickens further still. Kaz follows 94 people. You can only private message someone if they follow you, meaning that Zuel would need to be one of the 94. Kaz is only following two Americans. One is the 2012 GT Academy winner, the other is some weird 'Jordan' guy.

Edit: I also like the idea that they'll know who the letter is from and what it's about because it's addressed 'ATTENTION POLYPHONY DIGITAL'. Like there's an enormous mountain of letters that they just haven't opened because they weren't started with ATTENTION.

Allow me to share my @Zuel story.

@polarbear345 my good friend was running his Grand Am Rolex GT5 series which became the USCR for GT6. Zuel claims Polar took his logo he made for the series, and he would be in trouble as.... IMSA contacted Zuel by post to tell him it was in legal infringement. Apart from the sheer tosh of a racing organisation using a letter as opposed to email, IMSA do not have ways to contact people by address. It's a video game logo on a forum. IMSA would have no issue as there logo is not used for profit.

Me and Polar are still waiting to hear on the call from IMSA yet....

Oh and anyone remember the Camber theory thread? Too many good laughs.

This is not true. It would be hard but not impossible for them to get his address.

Yes they would have an issue. Trademarks have to be protected ( or you lose them ). I doesn't matter if it is used for profit or not. They can only be used with permission ( a few exceptions for newspapers and the likes ).

So it is not impossible for that to happen.

There is a parody loophole so if you called it "Dumb IMSA" it'd be perfectly legal. As its being used for parody.

Fun fact: many celebrity based fan fiction authors use this loophole in order to not get sued.

They didn't do that though, and I don't think trademark laws apply to fan fiction in this case.

In short to get away with the parody loophole you can't "look" like you are affiliated with the trademark owner, at all. And they didn't do that.

Hahaha... Just was able to read everything that was posted since last night. Too funny

I am honestly blown away by the level of stupidity. If he really had the letter in a e-mail that came through his phone, there are so many screen shot applications that he could had downloaded to prove his claims. So by him claiming that he couldn't take a screen shot of it because he was using his phone is just on another level of stupidity.

By @Scaff post, pretty much he has dug a hole past the point of no return.
