I'm a dunderheid:banghead: Try finding that word in your dictionary John!

Thanks guys, l hope it doesn't upset too many others to shift it back a week? If yer practicing, time to aim for 1:08.833 - a freak lap that I'll never see again.. but at least I know that the tune has it in it.

Oh, and Jocke, if pushing Bathurst back a week means your Motoyama meet date doesn't suit, let me know 'cos I want you to be there for your track!

Hi guys
 Nice so I won't mis that race 👍
I'll be back lol

Yer aff yer heid ya dunderheid, that's no' a real dug"
(You are incorrect you idiot, that is not a real canine)
Paul, you're definitely Scottish inside!!

Brilliant Joe. 👍:D It means I can race at Bathurst with one of my favourite muscle cars, the Camero Z28 '69...good vintage year!:sly:

Have a great time away.

I've been hanging around in here too long. That and a holiday to Fort William many years ago. :)

I forgot to say before* Joe, a break of a week may help me in returning (it's just my wrists that are giving me grief now). So it's fine by me.
Although ricocheting off all the barriers at Bathurst might do the wrists in again! :dopey:

*I'm a dunderheid.

Of all the car shows I've been to tonight was the first time I've ever seen an El Camino like the one in the game, right down to the wood paneling on the back.

Also something more my style

And what a real race car looks like (parked beside a Model T)

There's always smoke signals if needs must Paul! Works for me:P

The idea was to be sensible at the start so no one would go off. But it wasn't only you. I got dunted three times (in the first section) with Colin taking the brunt of my unintentional forward momentum in one of them.

Two deceiving corners Suts, you had a great second race though.

Good vid Jocke. That was a bloody crazy battle between blue and John. And Richy just pipped you over the line too. Loved the window wipers swishing the flies away or were you just looking for some extra speed?:D My best time in practice was 1:48.9, still 0.2 sec behind jammy's best race-lap time, but in the race could only manage 1:49.3.

As I'll be away for 4 days this week I thought I'd take the Camaro out for a dust down at Bathurst last night. Best time was 2:10.3. I know with my current set up the car can do 2:10.049 but I'm sure jammy and @FPV MIC will be in the 2:09s. Anyone got a lap time to aim for 'cos so far I'm finding it a real struggle?

Question asked; question answered. I should have came here first, but got concerned and fired off an email. :)

At least there are drop scores.

I cannot make it at jocke's track. Got camping from Wednesday 17th to Wednesday 24th.

Car: Chocolate metallic.

No Olympic Gold colour then?

I can see you've put a lot of km's on it while doing extensive testing. :mischievous:

At the old clocking trick again Jocke?

Reefer how can is see the chevrolet camaro z28 '69 tune (circuit: mount panorama motor racing circuit?)

I guess you mean you're looking for a tune. @GhostRider65 or @Bowtie-muscle has many good muscle car tunes, or did you mean mine?

Guests are welcome to join the series at anytime; those who have been invited in the past and new faces will always be made welcome.

Router reset, cache "cleaned", and ready to enjoy some good racin'

Interesting couple of races at Bathurst. Always knew the Reverse Grid race was gonna be tough but never thought it'd be that tough. Thanks to all those who came along and gave their all and congrats to flaviusbutterus and jammy for their wins:tup:

I'll skip next race for sure and may be rest of races too.

Do you mean you'd like to withdraw Jammy?

John, it's obvious that you're trying hard, which is good, but sometimes you're trying too hard. We can all be guilty of that sometimes. However, if you dunt someone off – example, fadmad, start of second race, lap 2 – then it's courtesy to give the place back, simple. As I've said before, these gentlemen are here to enjoy themselves and it ain't all about the Trophy!

Next up is Jocke's track which I love!

Edit: Just taken the Nova out for a spin at Motoyama - match made in heaven. One of my favourite combos ever ;)

The best 14 results from 16 races (8 week championship/2 races per meet minus the two lowest scoring races) will count towards the driver's total points score. This means anyone who misses a week won't be penalised.

Thanks very much Joe. Still feel embarrassed :embarrassed: as I has a few issues in the first race!?!

Really enjoyed the second race. Amazed I got 5th as I expected you and a few others to catch me up and pass me.

Bathhurst was fun and I love the circuit but as you state I think many were after the prize rather than just the thrill of racing together and the satisfaction of overtaking well without compromising other racers or yourself.

Thanks for a brilliant championship so far 👍 and looking forward to the next few races. :)

I feel somewhat embarrassed. Well I say never mind, as all people crashed at least once in the second race.

Not sure the person who gets dunted off without being given the place back thinks the same.
"as all people crashed at least once in the second race."

I told you the race was chaotic anyway. And may I ask why did we do a formation lap? Weren't we going to start from grid, standing still, like always?

"as all people crashed at least once in the second race."

I told you the race was chaotic anyway...

I'm not sure you get what I'm saying. So let me write out a wee spiel to help you understand:

If you knock someone off, wait until they rejoin then safely slot in behind them. If you can't slot in safely wait until other racers pass by then rejoin the track.

You've not shown any hint of understanding gentlemanly conduct on the track, ie giving the place back and, as it's not the first time, leave me with no option. You gotta understand the the rules of our fun championship. So the next time you're involved in something of your doing, you'll see a penalty. It's only for fun; the TROPHY! can wait. Get with the vibe John! No one has ever received a penalty in the very long history of the GT6 Classic Car Club. Don't be the first. We all knock each other off from time to time, but always give the place back and apologise. Simples. Or in your book is it unreasonable to give the place back and apologise?

In "my book" yes I have a rule giving the place back.

I apologised but I did not give the place back. So what if I serve
a "penalty" on my own. Not do qualifying on my next race since I will not be there next week.

Agree on that?

You'll keep your positions this time and there will be no penalty. Just cool it a bit John and show some gentlemanly spirit. Then we're ALL cool. Enjoy your camping!

Great to see Paul back
Yeah, it was good to join in with the muscle car madnes at last. Although after being away for sometime I'm still a bit rusty so generally sauntered around trying to keep out of everyone's way while making the acquaintance with the occasional barrier. Bathurst is very narrow in places!

I'm sorry if I caused any anyone to crash in race two. There was some mention of rear spoilers on the pit straight, because I couldn't remember if I'd removed my spoiler I lost concentration a little and screwed up turn one. :guilty:

Just to clarify Joe, front and rear spoilers/body kits are OK if they don't physically (a slider) add downforce?

I has a few issues in the first race!
Don't worry about the sticky barrier incident. I couldn't miss you but equally I'm sorry I hit you. ;)
