I've got MAME 32 for pc, a cd full. I think they call these games;"emulator" or something like that. I like some of these game more than the latest new ones.

I just checked: 478 games. It's a multiple Arcade Emulator for win32

An 'emulator' is a program that lets you run games not designed for pc use or designed for older pc's/OS's.
Like a PS1 emulator where you can insert your ps1 disc in your pc and play the game.

It's funny to see an avatar i made on another forum to be used here :)

There's a statute of limitations on this sort of thing. I think it would have been better to start a new thread, for the simple reason that it's difficult, at best, for people to pick up a conversation that's two and a half years old. People don't want to have to go back and read their own posts again just so they know what they said.

I know a large number of forums that automatically lock threads that haven't had any activity in a few months. Necroposting is generally considered very bad form on most forums.

Granted, he could have made a more contributing post, but it's still better to only have 1 thread than to have 5 on the same subject.

I have to agree with MachOne on this. Bumping an old topic (with something relavent to say) is better than making a new one. That is why there is a search button, after all.

Which isn't really a factor if the topic has been bumped, unless I'm misunderstanding your point.
Anyways, I started playing through Lunar again on Friday. 2/3rds of the way through it now. I also continued playing Snatcher and found some stuff I didn't notice on the first playthrough (including a heart-attack inducing fake game over screen). Damn that game is intense.

Santa is bringing me the "first decade" of Command and Conquer on DVD. I'm looking forward to some sensible PC gaming.

The Incredible Machine series were some of the most fun games I had ever played. The Incredible Machine: Even More Contraptions and Return of the Incredible Machine: Contraptions were sweet games. Such a shame no more will be built.

I wish I still had the 8-bit Nintendo (NES / 1st Nintendo), I would still be playing Super Mario Bros and Super Mario 3. I think those games have been with me for my entire life, until I pawn them to get money for a DFP, which I only kept 1 week (because the pedal were pissing off).

I used to ressurect the N64 to play the all-time best FPS ever Goldeneye 007, or Super Mario 64, or the almighty Zelda Ocarina Of Time. But I gave my N64 to my father when I bought the PSX (a little before the PS2 comes out).

Speaking of old video games, recently I've been playing Air Combat and the origional Formula One game for Playstation. Ohh, its terribly fun.

On one hand, you're correct.

On another hand, DeSwyft resurrected a 2-and-a-half year old thread to post a one liner.

I had that formula one game a little while after the playstation came out, it was fun to use the bike cheat. Got it in a bundle with crash bandicoot, wipeout 2097, tekken 2 and a few others.

Still got about 30 psx games I drag out on the odd occasion, but Command & Conquer Retaliation is still by far one of my favourites. Now I just need to find the memory card with the metal gear solid save on it...

Hold on thar!!! What's this bike cheat you speak of?

The game that got me interested in sim racing was Toca 2 for PC in '99. I used the microsoft sidewinder as a wheel and pedals.
