very nice work carl!! 👍
Big thanks too FAK for the tune
After only 1 hour with this tune I chopped of 1 sec of my time
:
Mad helped with the tune, hoping to get into the 55's soon
If FAK would like to share the tune for the Viper it would be very appreciated. Who knows I might even break 2 minutes with it...
👍I will send it too you, FAK told me I could share..
Go the "Guess tune". I haven't really put much effort and thought into it really. The car seems to handle fairly well and be pretty easy to drive, so i'm happy with it. I can post the "Guess tune" here if anyone wants it.👍
1'56.2xx is a really fast time too. I'm hoping to get a mid 55 in the 111r/tuned soon. The tune and car is definetely capable of it. But with a 'proper' tune, this car could go much much faster I believe.
YES..... By all mean, please post it. Along with all the guys who are getting these rediculous time in the Vette.... Maybe and just maybe people like myself who are struggling just to get into the 57s can be competitive..💡
Hey SOLAR 👍
As you can see, I'm not one of the fastest, but have managed to break into the 1'56 range with the Z06 tuned. I have been running this tune from TLD
Maybe you will like it
I'm confused about the shift @ 6000RPM though. The reason for this is? I'm not shifting at 6000RPM. Is this the reason as to why I can't break the 56 barrier??????
Maybe. The power is - a lot to run R3s and downforce, the - is mostly in the high revs. Learn to upshift the thing at 6000(or even a touch earlier), and keep it in the ~5000ish range in the esses. Haven't tried TLDs' tune, but I run 4g in the esses. And, only use 2g in the hairpin.
Lots of torque at 4000 rpm, use it or lose it.
Chase your ghost to see the benefit of early upshifting.
I've been upshifting @ 6,000 or a touch early as well, but watching FAK's replay, he is running a 4 speed transmission (instead of 5 for the TLD tune) and he is shifting much closer to redline (7,000 RPM) and he ran a 1'55.885 so, who knows? Maybe the wider torque curve with the 4 speed changes the optimum shift point.
