I'd take you up on that, would love to play with a tune for the 111R that's capable of 1:55's.

750PP GTLM

1'55.524 with some mistakes ...so.... :D

edit 1'55.488 in a race with rootbe but i think he might have a faster lap cause when i made that he was cathing anyway

750 PP Corvette Tuned--1'56.950 in free run. Replay saved.

Not much considering FAK's time, but I was thrilled to have broken into
the 56's, and I can see where 3 or 4 tenths more could be pretty easily
found ;)

FAK
FAK- Suzuka 750pp - Free Run - Tuned Z06 - 1'55.885

FAK ... could you please make a video of this lap for us all to marvel at? as it surely is the best free run suzuka lap in this whole thread based on the cars performance against the might LM 👍

What a fantastic laptime mate ... Congrats! 👍
Cheers

mr_VOLCANO - suzuka 750pp - Free run- Tuned viper - 1.56.245

Big thanks too FAK for the tune
After only 1 hour with this tune I chopped of 1 sec of my time ;)

EDIT: Agree with mr P . You should start uploading your laps on youtube! :dopey:

Was able to run a 1.56.2xx last night in my 111R / Tuned at suzuka 750PP.

Did it in a race but with clean air, nobody else around.

Mad helped with the tune, hoping to get into the 55's soon :)

Thank you guys,i'll try to make a video tomorrow...meanwhile,here is the z06's replay

very nice work carl!! 👍

Hey, that's a very nice lap by you Mr. ZISSOU 👍
Still haven't caught you yet, but I went a little faster in free run tonight--

750PP Corvette Tuned 1'56.874 in free run/replay saved

Unbelievable lap in the Corvette FAK  I am going to download your replay
and school myself on it 👍 I'm sure there's much to learn from it.

Well I managed to do a full race without going off once. Although it was close when I came up to El_Zissou when he was making it back to the track after going off in turn one.

Mind you, it's easy to stay on the track when you're driving at my speeds.

Edit:

Big thanks too FAK for the tune

If FAK would like to share the tune for the Viper it would be very appreciated. Who knows I might even break 2 minutes with it...

 Go the "Guess tune".:D I haven't really put much effort and thought into it really. The car seems to handle fairly well and be pretty easy to drive, so i'm happy with it. I can post the "Guess tune" here if anyone wants it.👍

1'56.2xx is a really fast time too. I'm hoping to get a mid 55 in the 111r/tuned soon. The tune and car is definetely capable of it. But with a 'proper' tune, this car could go much much faster I believe.;)

Managed to improve my time tonight & get into the 55's.

Lotus 111R / Tuned | Suzuka 750PP | Race

1.55.847 (no draft)
1.55.824 (slight draft down the back straight, nothing major, also stuffed the final chicane)

Hey SOLAR 👍

As you can see, I'm not one of the fastest, but have managed to break into the 1'56 range with the Z06 tuned. I have been running this tune from TLD

Maybe you will like it

I started using this tune last night and broke into the 57 time:tup:. Pretty excited about it. Just can't see how these guys managed to get into the low 1'56' though:crazy:.

This is what I'm talking about......👍 Instant response....:sly:

I'm confused about the shift @ 6000RPM though:dunce:. The reason for this is? I'm not shifting at 6000RPM. Is this the reason as to why I can't break the 56 barrier??????:banghead:

Maybe. The power is - a lot to run R3s and downforce, the - is mostly in the high revs. Learn to upshift the thing at 6000(or even a touch earlier), and keep it in the ~5000ish range in the esses. Haven't tried TLDs' tune, but I run 4g in the esses. And, only use 2g in the hairpin.

Lots of torque at 4000 rpm, use it or lose it.

Chase your ghost to see the benefit of early upshifting.

I've been upshifting @ 6,000 or a touch early as well, but watching FAK's replay, he is running a 4 speed transmission (instead of 5 for the TLD tune) and he is shifting much closer to redline (7,000 RPM) and he ran a 1'55.885 so, who knows? Maybe the wider torque curve with the 4 speed changes the optimum shift point.

I'm running 4 speed, and using 2g only in the hairpin ... almost a 3 speed.

:idea:FAK might just be an alien.
