Still chippin away at it ...

Mr_P | Suzuka 750pp Free Run | Tuned Vette R3/R2 | 1'56.281

Had a 50.894 T1 and 1'33.844 T2 in this lap but I messed up and lost a few tenths in the final chicane :ouch: I'm nearly at my limits with this one now and can see a 1'56.0 or 1'56.1 as my best possible laptime :indiff:

Well done to those guys in the 55's with this car as it's totally beyond me 👍 will upload my best lap tomorrow as I really have worked hard and dripped sweat to get it this low and I'm fairly happy with my laptime :P :cheers:

Don't know if it'll help me much, but it's worth a look.
I'm afraid I'm at my limit now, still stuck in the 56.7xx/8xx range.
Had a 56.5xx lap going last night but stuffed it up in spoon.
FAK's tune is good in free run for me, but I tried it in races and
just can't make it consisitent. Don't know how he does it :boggled:

Hooked up my old DFEX wheel instead of the DFGT and used FAK's tune for the Corvette. Result? Lowered my laptimes 2,5 seconds...

That viper time of mine is old old, and on a 10-minute guess setup.:yuck:

I can't go faster in the Vette no matter whose tune I try or tweak ... sounds like wheel time.
 
The real challenge is not how quickly you can run 1 lap, but how close to your max potential can you run all 10 laps without making any mistakes.

Nope, you're just slower than the super freak D1 drivers who have shared their laptimes with the community so far.

I am D2 like you, silver also, and my best laptime in free air is still only 1'57.3xx, and a 1'56.3 in slip.

I'm struggling quite a lot in comparison to my peers in D2 if yours and Carl's laps are anything to go by.

Well I got news for you buddy, and it isn't good, but Animera has done a 1'56.1 in clean air and runs mid 1'56s all race long it seems. So pray you don't meet him for a while in the comp. Not to mention, there was once a time that Nicko, Animera and I were all similar on pace, but those 2 are improving with every week, I'm not.:(

If that's in the Vette and not in the Amuse then yeah, I guess I'll be having difficulty with him in this combo. He should be in D1 anyway and I was hoping WRS would have cleared up all of the mis-placed superstars by now but it hasn't yet.

I'll get my own laptime up soon hopefully. If I can break the 1'56s I can run them regularly enough to hang on to anyone in D2's shirt-tails assuming no mistakes. That's all I can really hope for.

A one off 56.9? Other than slipstream laps, I've never achieved a 1'56 in race, and haven't had time to work on it in Free Run.

Sorry but, what cars are you guys talking about?? coz it depends a lot on the cars your driving! You guys must be talking about the vette but animera used a S2000 yesterday i think! Im stubborn but the MINES is my fav and 1.57.677 alone is pretty good, this realizing its a inferior car:tup:!
 
Pretty much everyone is using a Vette now for Event 03, just look at the last page. If anything, Animera seemed slower in his S2K.

1.57,xxx is quick in the Mines... I managed a high 1.59, but consistently run 2.00s... Our test drivers have been in the mid 1.58s with it.... It is the underdog here right now though... :(
